Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

Came in on a Sunday and ordered two sandwiches. A chicken cheesesteak that ended up being a beef cheesesteak. Bummer. The turkey sandwich was okay but the lettuce was wilted; not fresh. There were 4 employees and not a single one bothered to say hi or be friendly. Not the best experience.

I ordered the slaw be joe and it was not what I expected. It was shaved roast beef and very rare. It was so sloppy with slaw that I couldn't finish it. I was so disappointed.

I order catering from here a lot. Absolutely friendly and courteous. Manager Wendy has been taking care of my catering for years and years. Good food! Good service!

Observed staff place actual physical paper receipts on sandwiches while being prepared multiple times. Gross! And wild cross-contamination.
Staff did this openly while multiple staff members present. This is clearly a mangment/supervisory issue. Not employee, I did not get the impression this was done as a single employee instance. Which is why there was no point to bring it up to staff there. Rather post for upper management to review.
No photos needed. Management can few security footage of sandwich line between 5:00PM-5:20PM on Dec. 11th.

Fyi new studies show that most paper receipts carry cancer causing ink and paper on micro level. New suggestion says to avoid contact with receipts. Let alone place paper receipts on a sandwich while it is open and being made.
Please review sandwich building policies with all employees.

Pretty disappointed. The food isn't bad, just a bit overpriced in my opinion. Also, the website stated free cup of gravy with any sub purchase. I kept adding it to the cart but it wouldn't take it off. In the store I showed them the website and asked for the gravy, they said they don't know how to give it for free and said they have to charge me $1.50. I get it's only a $1.50 but come on people. It's literally advertised on your website. They said they can't just give me a cup of it that it has to be rung up.

The food was fine and the service was good. But what made my experience really awkward was the manager (bigger, blond/greyish woman) being really rude to the employees. I’ve been at this location multiple times and this is something that seems to be common. The managers bad attitude rubs off on the employees and I can tell they’re having a rough time.

I had stopped going to Capriotti's because it was so inconsistnet across all stores. I decided to stop by this evening to pick up a salad. I ordered the Chicken Balsamic to go. When I got home it was not the Chicken Balsamic; it was a hybrid of between their Black Bean and BBQ chicken. I swear it was one of the employees own creation. It had black beans, corn, tomatoes and crispy onions, etc. So, I called and they told me to come back and they would make it right. So I did. OMG, The second salad had parmesan cheese instead of gorgonzola cheese and an added bonus of tomatoes. I called again just to tell them and said I won't be returning again, but I wanted to let them know. All he said was "OK" and hung up. No apologies. Nothing! I'm done.

5 guys working in the evening. Friendly but no sense of urgency. Kids, lol.

My turkey club had more lettuce than turkey. The cheesesteak tasted like they put a ton of pepper on it . Capriattis is going downhill

Their salads feel refreshing and well put together.
