Carlitos Cuban Food #2

Huge portions, cheap, and delicious! Got 4 full meals for $26, enough to feed 8 people. Friendly service, the lovely woman who served us spoke great English, and they now accept card payment.

This place is closed & reopened with a different name... Google needs to catch up

Went there for the 1st time last night. Agree w/other reviewers. Food was very good & prices are amazingly good, but Spanish speaking only & no smiles or any kind of welcome from the staff. Desserts looked awesome but we didn't get any, trying to be good. We'll be back as it's walking distance from our place so we want to support it & hopefully it'll stay open. Portion sizes were huge, separated it into 2 meals but could've gotten 3 if I wasn't such an oinker.

I don't like the attitude of the place. They act like you should already know what everything is and asking them is offensive. I won't go back unless they change and make it an inviting place to those still learning about cuban food. It is not common in many places throughout America. There was no cuban food in Alabama growing up and I have only tried it a few times. I would try it more if the workers did not mind teaching me about their foods.

Omg I love this place! Bring cash you cant use your debt card and they do have an ATM if you forget. My mouth is watering as I type!!

The food is always amazing. And you have to try the flan!!!! It's like a cheesecake texture and with all the flavoring of a delicious flan. It's not mushy which is what keeps me coming back.

Food was great can’t go wrong with the carne vega with rice

Come here every time I have the chance. The food is very good, full of flavors, authentic Cuban preparation and good portions. Very well priced and the staff is always kind and friendly. Dining area is small so depending on how busy they are it can feel pretty crowded, if the weather is good they also offer outdoor seating. KEEP IN MIND, this place is cash Only, they have an ATM inside but it charges too much for the transaction. Overall a great option for Cuban food.

This place is the place for authentic Cuban food. Very good and very reasonably priced. One of our favorites.

$5 Cubanos? Come on... How can you not give 5 stars. Totally legit place.

I’ve gone to Carlitos twice this week and they were closed both times. can somebody tell me when they will be reopening? It’s my favorite place to go for lunch.
