Had mixed feelings after the experience of other yelpers but Cathédrale delivered for us. It is true that the ambiance is amazing. It's so cozy but still opulent. You walk down a long dark pathway that gives a vibe you are walking up on a meeting for a secret society. We were seated right away and greeted by our server. Alright onto the food.... We started out with the grilled octopus and burrata plate. This was some of the best grilled octopus that we've encountered on our travels. It was the perfect texture and the tomato mixture that came alongside gave an acidic twist that elevated it just so. The burrata was supple and creamy. Everything you're looking for. Entrees: Hubs ordered the black truffle fettuccine which was perfect. Just the right amount of truffle, perfectly cooked pasta and rich sauce. You can tell why it's the most popular dish on social media. And while it was delicious, do yourself a favor and order the brick oven chicken. The description of this chicken is very unassuming and if you weren't reading this, you'd probably brush it off as just a dish for picky people. Hear me now....do not sleep on this chicken. It was Devine. The sauce was rich and decadent. The chicken was juicy yet crispy in parts. We devoted that chicken and wished we'd ordered two. We finished off with the house fav Sorrento lemon. It messes with your brain in the best way. Give it a go if you like lemon. The meal was perfect from start to finish. We will visit again.

Absolutely love the cocktails here! They are fun and creative. The food here also compliments the drinks well. Highly recommend the chocolate cake. We sat in the bar area and the bartender was also very nice. Overall a nice ambiance but the music can be a little bit loud at times.

This restaurant has great ambiance. The decor is really nice and inviting. The food was very good. The filet was cooked perfectly and the oysters were absolutely delicious. Where they lack is with service. We had a table of 4, and it felt like we were an afterthought for everyone working there. Our waters sat empty, on average, for 12 minutes at a time. On one occasion, after about 10 minutes, I looked up and saw one of the males that had previously filled our waters, just standing against the wall appearing to be flirting with a female server - and they were maybe 12-15 feet from our table! When our entrees arrived we had no silverware because they bussed ours, so we got to sit and stare at our food and when we asked for new silverware we were told we had to wait for our actual server to bring it. Then, they failed to bus the whole table at any given time and just left old plates on the table for the remainder of dinner. The service was VERY disappointing, and although the food was very good, I'd recommend against going and paying these prices for such poor service. TWO STARS FOR FOOD, ZERO STARS FOR SERVICE.

My wife and I had been looking forward to trying Cathedrale, the interior looked beautiful and the menu interesting. We made a reservation for 8:00 PM on Saturday and it took about 30 minutes to get seated. Much longer than you should have to expect at a high end restaurant. On the positive side, we were comped two cocktails for our troubles. The restaurant was indeed nice inside, but didn't quite live up to the pictures. They tried to make up for it with loud music better suited for a night club (maybe we're just too old). All the tables seem configured for 5 people so my wife and I shared a booth that was too big. The server was friendly and professional, so no issue there. We ordered the following: Wagyu tartar and burrata for starters. Both were quite good if not exceptional (maybe a little too much sauce on the tartar). For mains we ordered the Ribeye and the Black Truffle Fettuccine. The steak was really just OK. The "verte" sauce was so little the waiter had to point it out to me and frankly, I still couldn't taste it when paired with the meat. The steak was cooked fine, but was a little tough (how do you mess up a ribeye?) and really just didn't have a great flavor. It was also served on a dish that was too small, making it crowded. The bright spot, the roasted leek, it was amazing. The Fettuccine was cooked perfectly and the layer of shaved black truffle was just what my wife was hoping for. We also got sides of spinach and fries. The spinach was good, and definitely fresh, but lacked something, maybe salt? The fries tasted great, but were wilted. The cocktails were just OK. Overall I'd say that for $330 we could have gotten a much better meal in many other Vegas restaurants. If you're looking more for a party night than great food, this might be the place for you. Like STK, only STK has better steak. I struggled with 4 stars, it's probably closer to 3.5. Unfortunately, we likely won't be back.

The service extremely poor and slow, seems there were doing you a favor. A simple request like a soda took more than 10 min. The meat was cold, the pastas good but so much better the side macaroni pasta than the main dishes.

We chose this place because we stayed at the Aria and it was close. It was also our anniversary so wanted to do something we assumed would be fancy. We would have been better off going to Tacos El Gordo in the strip. We had reservations and still waited 15+ minutes with nowhere to sit. Staff didn’t even offer for us to sit at the bar while we waited. Once we were seated, it took a good 10-15 minutes for anyone to even come over to get our drink orders. The waiter was very absent the entire time, our food took almost an hour. We got our complimentary bread maybe 40 minutes after being seated so that was the only plus. My fiancés steak wasn’t cooked correctly, lacked flavor and was very bland. He’s had better steak at Texas Roadhouse. My salmon was a small portion and very dry and over cooked. Not enough. After eating, the waiter did admit he didn’t provide good service and because of this, he only charged us for the entrees and not the two drinks we had….coke and sparkling water. Took another 20 minutes to get the check. We paid, left and will never return. I would not recommend this place whatsoever. It’s over priced for the quality of food and service that you are given. Straight up the worst restaurant & service we’ve had in Vegas. We go 2-4 times a year. Save your money! Go elsewhere.

The honey bread was melt in your mouth, to die for! Wagyu tartar was good but a little too strong of a Dijon mustard flavor. It also could have come with a few more chips. Drinks were beautiful and refreshing. We ordered the lamb and chicken. It was the best chicken I think I've ever had! The portions were very large, we should have split one and gotten one more appetizer or saved room for dessert. We didn't want to take our leftovers back to the hotel room.

The worst customer service, manager told me they did not have my reservation, when I clearly had one booked , I even pulled my email up to show her confirmation. She then proceeded to tell me that they sent all the cooks home right at 10:30pm. I highly suggest removing your 10:15 reservations then on here! So unprofessional!!!

Went for dinner for the Monday disco night. We thought it was going to be fun and we would hear a lot of disco music, but when we left around 1130pm there still wasn't much of that or very fun. The server from the start of dinner seem to be rushing us, and after we finished our entrées, he never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks (which we would've ordered had he asked) but instead we just decided to leave. Food was ok but there's lots of competition in Vegas so won't return.

Excellent food and wine. Service was clunky. Ordered wine before food. Wine came well after we had our appetizers. Wait staff did not seem to be coordinated well with kitchen. Our meals came out shortly after our appetizers and our waiter was surprised to find us eating our meal already. Waiter was very pleasant.

Cathédrale Restaurant at Aria is amazing! The El Tamborito (much like a chocolate espresso martini) 10/10! Apple Tatin (pictured & probably my favorite!) The sweetest manger Brianna stopped to check on us and was an absolute delight! I can not wait to come back
