The Umami Bowl is flavorful with a spicy kick. It is filled with farro grains, crispy oyster mushrooms, avocado, myco meat (a mushroom based meat), shisito mix, shiitakes, onions, spicy slaw, black bean salsa and topped with watermelon radish. For those who are watching fat grams and calories, you should know that the oyster mushrooms are battered and fried. The Shroomshred Chocolate Smoothie was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t expect a mushroom-y smoothie to be so delicious. I love sipping a creamy, chocolatey smoothie with bits of dates. I did request bananas in place of cashew cream and avocado.

Absolutely appalling. ChagaRoot has completely turned its back on the vegan community by adding meat to their menu. This isn’t just a menu change — it’s a total betrayal of the ethical principles they once claimed to represent. To call themselves a “plant-based” or “health-focused” restaurant now is misleading and insulting. If you care about animals, ethics, or true vegan values, stay far away from this place. I will never support a business that so shamelessly abandons the very foundation it was built on.

Very sad to hear they're not fully vegan anymore, but glad they ensure things are cooked on separate surfaces. Lady at the counter was very helpful and answered any questions I had. The burger I had was absolutely delicious, and the fries are some of the best I've ever had. Will return.

Well let me saythis. Before 2025 their food was amazing. I get these mushrooms tacos. Well I use to get these tacos pink oyster tacos that were so good. They were reasonably priced. Well idk who the smart person was that wanted to change the tacos ingredients to something hot and not close to what the pink oyster tacos were but it's horrible. Did yall not consider the people buying the tacos before yall go and change the tacos? I mean not only did they change the tacos but then they went up like $3 . Everytime I find something good , it never lasts long. Either their price goes up way to much or they change up what I use to get. Idk why this happened. I'm very disappointed though.

Food was pricier, but it was worth it. The quality in the food and house made ranch. The gluten-free bun was soft! My favorite place.

We've been here before but wanted to come back to taste these burgers and also write a review. We ordered the crispy mane nuggets, oyster tenders, bloomin oyster BBQ mushroom burger, and baja cauliflower tacos.

Crispy mane nuggets: they were indeed crispy and tasted delicious with the mustard sauce, though we would have appreciated the ranch as well.

Oyster tenders: these were very well coated, not doughy, super crispy, and tasted fantastic. This is probably the only restaurant that has coated the tenders so well! They pair really well with the dipping sauce but probably even better with ranch.

Bloomin oyster BBQ mushroom burger: everything was perfect and the size was just right, but there was too much sauce in there, which made it hard to hold the burger.

Baja cauliflower tacos: reminded us of eating vegan tacos from one of our favorite vegan restaurants in California so this was a must enjoyed dish. The cauliflower tasted fresh but the sauce was even better.

Overall, highly recommended to vegan burger and tacos lover - we are definitely coming back again.

Litterally the best vegan spot with phenomenal prices and food. We got two chagasmash burgers, the taco trio and oyster tenders for 42 dollars. The burgers came with fries. I can only WISH they'd come to AZ. Everything on the menu is vegan. I can't praise this place enough. Absolutely a great find top to bottom.

Update: They've added animal meat to the menu. The tenders tasted a bit different this time and I didn't like them as much. The mac and cheese was new for us to try and we didn't like it, wouldn't recommend. The ranch was more of a spinach dip and it was really good. The oyster burger was okay. Not what we'd hoped for the price. The chaga smash was still a good burger like the big mac. We may not come back again but it's a good spot to try.

They’re not a vegan restaurant anymore. They serve bison meat, chicken, steak and salmon now. Beware when ordering, it’s not a vegan version of those meats.

This restaurant is a must stop in Las Vegaa. The restaurant and bathrooms are immaculate with a friendly staff. We were beyond impressed with the baha tacos, lions mane sandwich, chocolate and strawberry smoothies. We can't wait to come back.
