Decided to try this place out on a whim before doing my shopping. It was lunchtime, so I got the lunch special of 2 slices and a drink, I wasn't the most excited when I seen it come from those rotating warmers you see in truck stops, I ordered the garlic bread as well as something to try, The pizza was barely warm, and you can tell it has been sitting, the garlic bread was okay nothing special, but really the pizza was maybe slightly worse than something you could get at mavericks on lunch. For me, this is an easy pass. It wasn't bad per say but I've been to places around the city that make their lunch slices fresh to order, having it sit out like that ruins what could be a good quality pizza.

This place is trash! It tasted like microwave pizza. I’m not sure who the cook was today but the crust was overcooked and tasted like cardboard. The beef ravioli was very over cooked as well. Not sure how they are still in business.

I have now purchased 2 pizzas: a small deep dish and a medium thin crust - both with one topping.
Per their menu, the small deep dish is $12 plus $2 for topping, or $14. However, when delivered it's about $30, after standard tip. The thin crust is $18 plus $2.50 for the topping. I picked this one up and, after "technology fee" for credit card and tip (because somewhere along the way we started tipping front counter people), I paid just the sunny side of $31 for carryout.
Upsetting? Not really, it's Friday and by God it's pizza! That said, just know that the price you see on their menu and what you'll end up paying are two different things.
And the product? Well, the small sausage deep dish was life affirming, with the lightly sweet sauce offsetting the salt of the meat. Bread was pastry shop good. This will be my go-to. The thin crust pepperoni was salty and - as Dave puts it - weak in the undercarriage. It would probably be good reheated on a grill and washed down with real Coca Cola.
Minor nit: the phone system is centralized and it's easy to select the wrong store ("Decatur" vs. "Durango"), which I did and ended up driving a total of 20 more minutes. I'll take the L on that one, but you, dear reader, might take a little extra care in ordering.

The Chicago Stuffed Deep Dish was good. I would have ranked it very good if the sauce wasn't so sweet. Just too sweet for my palette (obviously subjective). The atmosphere is more of a "to go" joint (2nd location is only a to go joint). In my experience, Chicago Stuffed Deep Dish is more of a dine in experience. Counter service only. The young lady at the counter was nice and quite helpful, but it was just counter service. The pizza was good overall, and if you don't mind the very, very casual experience it's a fine option.

So as we were shopping we were looking for a place to eat and pizza sounded good. A little google Maps search showed us this place.
As we walked in, the 2 cute gals working were bubbly and happy and welcomed us to the restaurant. We decided on the Calzones, and I must say they were BIG, and they were delicious. They were definitely freshly made and came out SCREAMIN' HOT from the oven.
I would suggest this place if you're craving some good pizzeria food. And I must say the place was clean and the restrooms were as well. (Hygienics are huge to us)
I noticed on the reviews that the owner monitors and responds to reviews, which told me he truly cares about the business and was the tipping point as to why we chose Chicago guys. And it shows. I hope the 2 gals that were working get a "Thank You" from us for being so kind.

Might be closed. Arrived at 7pm, doors locked, nobody home. No signs or anything. I was so looking forward to a chicago beef. ??♂️
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. We ordered delivery and the delivery driver was very nice. The pizza was terrible. We paid $24 for a pizza that was like chewing luke warm rubber. I'd say, Little Ceasars is 100% better pizza for less than half the price. Finally, they charge $4 for French fries, and Its about the size of a McDonalds small. There are lots of better places for less money.

I was out here visiting and had a hankering for pizza. After searching numerous places I settled Chicago Guys. I got a 14" Carnivore with thin crust. It was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The only thing that gave me pause was that it was cut into squares but I wasn't aware they do that, would've much preferred pie cut. On my next visit, you can bet I will be back and get it my way! Great pizza!

Ordered deep dish pizza with sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was cold and seems to be a premade frozen pizza. Crist is doughy and unable to cut with a knife. Will not be ordering from here again. On top of the additional fees $37 for a premade frozen pizza is not what I wanted.

I’m forced to pay a technology fee $1.31 why because they don’t have change to accept cash.. then I have to wait because they forget sum of my order. Last thing I paid $4.00 for fries, a hand full for $4.00.. This place will never receive my service again

Let me tell you, the pizza was SO DARN GOOD that even though they gave me the wrong pizza, I was not the least bit upset or disappointed! Lol. I kindly brought it to their attention (after I had already started eating it) and the owner came to the front and apologized and thanked me for being so kind about it and told me that the next one is on him. That's what I call excellent customer service.
I ordered plain cheese and added Italian beef and spinach but what I got was olives, green peppers and pepperoni (which I don't even eat pork, but I did today!) I'll return soon for that free one Jay ??
