Why I like this place is because it brings back so many memories of youth and growing up in San Francisco. No, it does not have a stunning atmosphere (actually it is pretty much the opposite of stunning). No, the location is pretty questionable (not dangerous so much as uncomfortable). But all of that is made up by the great food and really sweet service. Price is moderate (I think the days of cheap Chinese food is over IMHO). Good portions, very tasty food, excellent service...

New China Kitchen has become my go-to “don’t think, just order” Chinese spot in Vegas. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but once you’ve eaten here a few times you get why so many people keep coming back. The food is always piping hot, flavorful, and not greasy, whether I’m picking up or getting delivery. This hidden gem serves some of the best Chinese food in the Vegas area! Best for take out, but there are a few tables inside as well.
