Dishes are in the price range of $18-$20+. We got the orange chicken, crispy beef, pork dumpling soup, honey walnut shrimp and duck. Everything was pretty solid. I heard they’re known for that honey walnut shrimp but I believe the crispy beef was actually the main takeaway for me. It was very crispy and so was that orange chicken. Staff were nice and attentive. The restaurant is clean and you can see inside the kitchen.

And yes you can take stuff to go in a to go box if you don’t finish.

We waited 15 minutes over our estimated wait time (1 hour total) so I went in the check and they said their wait list system was messed up, they sat us right after that. Okay no problem but they were still having new walk ins use the system? It didn’t make sense, they needed to write down peoples name manually at that point. We ordered and after that the server was no where in sight, never saw him again. We were done eating and waited 15 minutes before someone else came over and we asked for the check and boxes. The crispy beef tasted burnt but we didn’t even mention that because we were ready to leave at that point. They were no longer busy inside either, we were sat after the lunch rush at 2:00pm. The service was so bad this time, but it’s usually slow to begin with. They really do their cooks a disservice because the food is good but the service is bad. If I eat here again it will be take out only.

So we went to this place on my brother's recommendation and the wait was pretty long, but once we got seated it was even longer because it took a while for the server to get to us. It was pretty busy so I'll have to give them that. In regards to the food, it was okay. I really like the crispy beef and I really loved the sesame balls for dessert. Everything else was just okay but overall I had to give this place a fair down the middle three stars.

Wonderful food for a range of tastes and at reasonable prices. The quantities are large and the staff are attentive and courteous. I’d highly recommend China Mama if you’re in Las Vegas.

All About Vegas

I finally tried the original China Mama in Las Vegas and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

We ordered the orange chicken (perfectly crispy and flavorful), the shrimp spring rolls, and the beef fried rice, all super tasty. But the honey walnut shrimp and crispy beef were the real standouts. So good!

The restaurant was packed, but the service was still fast and friendly. The staff made us feel really welcome, like we were regulars.

If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Chinese comfort food in Vegas, this place is a must. Great vibe, great food, great people

Food was delicious, very good-sized serving, parking is very limited took us approximately 20 minutes to find parking. We ordered several dishes including Kung pao chicken, China mama special chow mein, crispy beef, pork soup dumplings, salt and pepper pork rib everything was great the only they kinda miss a little was the chow mein not very flavorfull. Service was great thr only issue I had is they brought 2 dishes out and then 10 minutes later the rest.

This is the original of the chain restaurant. The decorations and vibe of this place is very chill and relaxed. The food is fresh and tasted authentic with good wok skills. Overall, we had a good experience here.

We got the orange chicken, shrimp fried rice and big mouth bites.

Everything was very good, I wish they had general tso on the menu because I love a little extra spice, but this was probably the best Chinese I’ve had since we moved out here. My son loved the fried rice and the big mouth bites would have been better without the cilantro, but still very good.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried prawns, pork joint, crispy duck, egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper fish, green beans, fried rice, and tofu. Our favorites were the tofu and the salt and pepper fish, but we still recommend all those dishes. The only unfortunate thing about this place is the lack of parking available especially at night, but that is not the fault of the restaurant
