We heard the lunch hour is very busy; as visitors, we planned our visit for the early afternoon. Arriving @ 2:15pm on a Wednesday, we were able to walk right in and get a table, the restaurant was about 80% full.
Taking a cue from Guy K., we ordered the Crispy Fried Beef, Green Beans and the house chow mein. Our kind waitress remarked 'those are all my favorites'.
The green beans arrived first; the seasoning was AMAZING and the texture of the deep fried beans just delectable. Is that preserved vegetable in there I taste? One of my favorite asian ingredients. As were picking at the beans, the fried beef and noodles arrived.
The beef, a sizable portion, was delicious, slightly spicy. You will get a decent amount of 'batter bits', but they're delicious too.
The noodles were just right, could've used more proteins IMO, and well seasoned. I did slather on a little chili paste.
Rice is not included and must be ordered a la carte, but we didnt need it.
The included hot tea was very good.
Loved being able to see the kitchen staff through the window.
They have an ordering kiosk setup for to-go orders which I thought was pretty cool. They also have a tiny bar/lounge.
Service was superb.
Looking forward to visiting again on our next trip to LV!

Busy and noisy. Awesome food. Large portions. Staff did no quality checks. A little pricey.

This is same owner as the China Mama's in Palace Station. Frankly, I prefer the Palace for the food taste and prep, but here seemed to have the better service. Both are good, but like any 'chain', there are differences. You pay your money and make your choice.

Very nice, authentic food and pleasant service.
However, I accidentally left a small but valuable personal item behind after dinner there, and I couldn't retrieve it the next day - they had discarded it.
I was unpleasantly surprised, even though it was my fault. It's not the first time I forgot something in a restaurant, but it's the first time I couldn't get it back.

All the staff were very nice. The waitress and manager were very honest. There was a mistake on how the tip was added and she came back to let us know that it was refunded on our check. The food was great and worth every penny. I would recommend and am looking forward to visiting again.

Bussing the table before we even paid. We've been here less than an hour. Asking us to pass the plates to clear the table. Food was okay. Not worth the hype.

China Mama is a must-visit spot in Las Vegas Chinatown. The food tastes authentic, the portions are generous, and the flavors are always on point. Their soup dumplings are especially famous — fresh, juicy, and delicious. It’s a great place to enjoy classic Chinese comfort food, and the lively atmosphere makes it even better. Definitely worth the wait if it’s busy!

How can you mess up Shrimp Chow Mein? I spent $9 for shrimp and they were the smallest, dirtiest tasting shrimp, I've ever had! I just can't believe I thought going to a restaurant, where I've already purchased the Crispy Beef, would make everything just as good, and flavorful! NOPE! I tried to prepare myself and order my Chow Mein with a side of General's Tso's sauce, but they don't make that at this location. It was absolutely no flavor! I'm from Philly and can get better Lo Mein, or Chow Mein, from a Chinese Store! This is a restaurant! I will only get the Crispy Beef going forward. IF I come back! I can't trust anything else to have flavor. Oh, I bought Beef Fried rice for my friend, BLAND AS HELL! We had to doctor that, just like I had to do the CHOW MEIN! Never again!

China Mama is amazing! The sweet shrimp is my favorite dish — so delicious. The service is excellent, the place is spotless, and I love that you can see the chefs cooking through the kitchen windows. Highly recommended!
