You are not permitted to sit at a table unless you pay an exorbitant amount of money to reserve it. This can be anywhere from $75 to $200 and includes absolutely nothing. I'm atthe venue this evening and nowhere near full with tables empty and told I cannot sit without paying. So while I drink I have to hold my beverage. My question is this....if I want to order food, am supposed to eat standing up?? This place is utterly ridiculous. I won't be returning.

Band never showed. Waited an hour and a half later of waiting.

Cool bar but only because of the music. The food was horrible! A $17 burger with a dry bun that's probably been sitting there all week while the place is dead. The waitresses are stuck up and have terrible service. They act like they are special, it's the weird bartender/service industry ego I see everywhere. I sat there and waited 30 mins before I had to go to the bar and order my food. I had to get up and ask for a menu and the absolute second I go to the restroom they come to the table and clean it. It happened twice, but for some reason I couldn't get service? This place is whack... food was utter garbage.

Stopped in to hear the music and see what the place was about and ended up closing the joint down. Had such a good time.

Food was terrific for typical bar and grill fare. The band, a Lenyrd Skynyrd cover band, was the best cover band band I've ever heard. Cool place, great food and service, and outstanding music. Well done!

We all LOVE coming to Vampd. Looking at my phone pictures from the 12 months, we actually visited 12 times, always with at least 4 people, most of the times many more (up to 25 a few weeks ago when a large group from work got together) We reserve a table(s) regularly and we are aware of the table minimum ($50-$125, depending where at Vampd). Last night left a very bad taste in our mouth. In the middle of the Moby Dicks performance, a few people in our party had to leave early, so we asked for the bill at that time, so they could settle their part. Come to find out that there was a $125 table charge added to the bill. Very surprised, we asked our waitress Hannah if this was a mistake, since this is the first time (in God knows how many years coming to Vampd and before that Feelgood's) we ever saw this on our bill. She brought over a guy (manager?) whom I saw earlier at the door. Side note, this is the first time I've ever seen the individual. He claimed to be the guy who takes all the reservations and after asking him about this, he claimed that they've charging this for 2 years now. I called him out and said that we had two tables in the bar area a few weeks ago and we were not charged (there was a $50 table minimum per table, which was always the case) and the many times before. After some back and forth, he "knocked" off $75 off the table charge. After we paid, our entire party decided to leave since we all had a bad feeling from this experience. By the way, a few tables around us, were not aware of this "table charge" and also thought it was a table minimum. If this table charge is the new standard, please make it VERY VERY clear to customer since most likely the Vampd regulars are unassuming. As a matter of fact, we all paid a $10 entrance fee so actually the table would have cost us over $200!!! We could live with the rather expensive $10 beer prices, but Vampd's new policies & prices seem like they no longer want to be a locals hang out. We will definitely voice our opinion to Danny & Korie when we talk to him next. Will we come back? Of course, because Vampd is still our favorite place to watch some incredible performers. Patrick

We went and drank in the bar area, our bill was close to $300, then security came and put a sign on our table that said $50 to sit here. About 5 minutes later security (bandana man) came and told us we had to leave the table. When the band started (family) we were in the VIP booth and I had my foot out of it, and security (bandana man) came and told me to put you foot in your booth, then stood by the corner and watched us. Needless to say we will never go back there. And just a word of advice to bandana man, in that field it is stupid to wear a banana around your neck you will get taken out pretty quick.

Sound system was great, cool atmosphere, good bar service. But I would not come back as I felt unsafe at this establishment. Security was very aggressive, especially while I was sitting at the bar, full pat down at the door. 5$ cover was fair, band came on an hour after 8 start time on website. I asked about table service for an April show, they said they don't do early reservations.

I walked in here last night to see a cover band play and to get dinner. There was no indication that if you wanted to eat there, you have to reserve a table. When i tried to get a drink at the bar, there were only two bartenders, and it didn't really seem like they were helping anyone. I stood there for about 10 minutes before i walked out. The vibe there was so offputting and uncomfortable. I didn't stick around to even watch the band play. Hopefully, they'll play elsewhere that's a bit more welcoming.
