You would think after all the bad reviews on google about them not opening on time that they would try and open when they say they do. Wrong. It’s 7:05 am and they say they open at 7 on a Sunday. This is the only coffee shop in the Rio Casino and you can’t go grab a coffee at 7am.

Google said you're supposed to be open at 5:00, I checked with the casino, they said you supposed to be open at 5:00 and you're not. You're not going to show up at least put some hours on your door or at least a note.

This has never happened before. We went on open table online to make a reservation for my husband and I and a friend for last night, 9/16/2023 for dinner before comedy show. Our reservation was accepted for 5pm. We show up to find the restaurant closed! It was disappointing, rude and poor customer service since nobody ever reached out to us. We had to run around and find another place to eat quickly before our show at Comedy Cellar in the Rio. Very disappointing and shame on you guys!

How can we possibly review a place we haven't been to? By simply judging a book by its cover! NOT a good first impression! My husband and I and a friend had made online reservations, for 5pm on Saturday, Sept 16th. We made them online and they were confirmed. We wanted to enjoy a nice dinner before our 7pm show at the Comedy Cellar. We arrived promptly at 5pm to find the doors locked and nobody home. A few girls were behind us and were also shocked that it was closed. Here are the hours shown for Saturday night here on Yelp: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM. We then had to rush around the casino to find another spot for dinner. Went to the All-American Burger restaurant which was OK but you guys really dropped the ball. With so many other choices of places to eat, this miscommunication lost your establishment valuable business. If you open your doors at 5pm and gave us a reservation for that time, why would you be closed on a Saturday night and not even get back to us to explain? Very disappointing.

Limited menu, but everything was good (coffee, OJ, croissant). Cheaper than most of the restaurants in the hotel, and very convenient if you are staying in the Masquerade Tower. Better than Starbucks, for sure.

Donna is amazing! Went to her for breakfast every morning of my convention — she was always happy to help and had a smile on her face. Check out Capola Cafe for a nice breakfast or lunch at the Rio! Best part of the hotel…

The worst cacio e pepe on the planet. Like, I’m pretty sure they didn’t realize there is supposed to be cheese in it, as it appeared to be just noodles, pasta water, and black pepper. The arugula salad was ok, and the bread was decent, so they get two stars.

My meal (tomato salad with onion and mozzarella and chicken) was fine. My husband's meatball sandwich was quite light on the meatball but otherwise ok. Our friend ordered spaghetti carbonara and it was surprisingly awful. The server was really nice and didn't charge for the uneaten meal, which we greatly appreciated. She was the only server in the restaurant so I feel for her.
Inconsistent hours. Place has been sold to dreamscape who will been taking over soon.

Absolutely the best place to get a cup of coffee. The service is phenomenal!! Donna is the best barista! Her customer service is second to none. As a former coffee shop/ cafe manager I recognize and value her expertise. Stopping by Cupola Cafe evey every morning I am in Vegas is always the highlight of my morning.
