Tbh I'm happy this place closed down. There are way better Korean food people can try and explore than this s hole. Food is bad and service was HORRENDOUS.

OMG!! They come over to take our order and I was so worried that they didn't right it down. And of course my worst fears is correct. They bring us the wrong dish. Half our table is correct the other half is totally wrong. Then she proceeds to argue with us on what we ordered. Why won't people write things down?!?!

Was here three years ago when the lines for the nearby Chinese restaurants were too long for us to wait. It was getting awfully cold outside in the tundra like weather and I had to use my own bag as an improvised heater. Sin city's Chinatown is one big square and although there were many restaurants we considered trying, only a handful were open at the time. We were a large party of people with family friends reuniting after many years of remaining disconnected. It was so jam packed and busy that one night that the servers forgot about us and my friend's girlfriend actually had the luxury to pretend to our designated waitress for the remaining time we were there. At minimum, a third of the tips should have gone to her for her hard work. Who could blame for sitting at a table without any refills or questions on whether we would like some more Soju or what not. I know this for LV guidelines is good Korean fare, but do hold onto the end of this commentary for the more depressing facts that will ultimately unmask the one little monster from the abyss that ended up spoiling the good dream here. Before I cover that over here, below are a few facts about what we had eaten that gusty night. BBQ meats: Sweet, rich in taste, and had a nice succulent tenderness to them. Grilled nicely over the fire and uniformly cooked throughout all layers. Very fresh and coated with a nice load of fat for those who enjoy prolonging their lives through adipose tissue deposits. Who knew how they initially purchased their meat products before handling them? Your beef Christmas dinner has been made complete right there in front of your eyes. Japchae: Cold, thawed, and bland. The plain simple materials needed to bring out the flavors were not there. A mildly experiences Sous chef tried too hard to recreate the most simple dish by removing all of the constituent parts. Really now? I have never felt more nickled or dimed since my previous flight aboard the one airline that only gave free ice and smiles! That is what it appeared in front of me. Purple Rice: This stuff is actually really good. It may have been taken from black beans or yams, but they packed a mad punch into my face. No sugary additives added, a child could not have made a better bowl of rice even if they had a play station to distract the hours they search for ingredients. Soondooboo Tofu Soup: Missing the spiciness that brings the living dead spirit from the soup base. Amateur inspired dish with no eggs mixed inside. Filled to the top with way too much water and not enough peppers. Every sip was equivalent to drinking yellow bell pepper juice with the soft chewy nature of the tofu. Not the least bit praiseworthy in my history. Pajun Pancake: Too cold and undercooked. Several parts of it had scallions that were torn or have fallen over. The presentation part of it was disappointing and it was too hard to stomach. Lacked the shrimp and the clams that it was supposed to have unless I made a mistake in reading the Hangul. Vegas has some nicely imported seafood, I do not believe this was supposed to be absent. Bibimbap: My friend and his girlfriend shared this dish. One small bowl of sizzling rice topped with veggies or beef. The raw egg did not fully get fried since the stone bowl was not cooked long enough in high temperatures. Then, on the inside the seaweed remained a little on the cooler side. I know I have a zero percent tolerance for this, luckily they were fine. Any AYCE places would give you a bigger sized helping for that so to speak. Soju: Their soju if you mixed it lightly with water and other carbonated beverages is remarkable. I would not say it is appropriate for those who wish to get a hangover on the outskirts of town, yet whoever wants to feel rich after losing a game of craps should try to feel rich by mixing different beverages together. Knock on wood next time! Mostly good reviews, servers friendly enough to chat in Korean with me all the way through even though I could tell they were not wanting to be there late at night during the graveyard shift. Attentive as

Initially went to Biwon and they could not accommodate our party of 14 within 90 minutes. They recommended us to call HANU to see if they could take us sooner. I called and they a table for us immediately. Upon arrival, they were so friendly and sat us to our table. For $23.95/pp it’s not a bad deal. My only gripe would be they bring the appetizers while you are half way into your meal. But at least its freshly cooked!!! The fried food certainly doesnt taste pre-made and sitting in a steam tray out back. It was crispy and hot. My main focus and reason for a 5 star is their teamwork of service, friendliness of staff. Our server, Jennifer was vibrant, inviting and attentive. Thanks a bunch to her and her team! Would def go back!! **I didnt take any pics because hands were soiled from eating. Oh well, next time! But experience it for yourself!

The place was actually called Hanu. If it was just based on food.. meh.. maybe I would have done a 4 star review.

I am soooo sad I have been going to Vegas for so many years and JUST found this place. For a 5.00 cab ride from El Rio....you can eat REALLY good food for a great price!!!

The food is good it's expensive you have to cook your own food which I wasn't ready for that but I managed it's for like the really hip crowd you know

This place was a ok place to get AYCE Korean BBQ. This place did change owners so it was a little bit of surprise to see the menu change. If you get the top AYCE special, there is a lot more you can get, but it's a little on the $$ side.

So good! And all you can eat!

Amazing...me and my hubby are addicted to this place

Now called Hanu Korean BBQ Wouldn't recommend. Promo $19.95 but that's "starting price". Meat quality ok nothing great. A lot of food had no taste including side dishes. A couple pluses - bean sprouts and potato salad tasty. Service was less than great; food runners ok but main "server" seemed less attentive and motivated to take care of "her assigned table"; more of just an order taker since we had to ask several other wait staff for assistance .
