We visited this place for our New Year’s celebration. The food was good and definitely the highlight of the experience. However, the service was disappointing. We didn’t feel very welcomed, which took away from the overall atmosphere. The quality of the food helped make up for it, but I hope the service can improve in the future.

Wife and I had the kalguksu dishes. Clam and kalbi respectively. Both broths were something to rave about. Noodles had a great texture. This restaurant is definitely in the repeater category.

Overall really good small menu focused on really good dishes. Everything is family style. We tried the daeho beef ribs and a seafood soup, and some pork and kimchi dumplings. everything was good! Nice but small selection of beer soju and hard liquor.

Had the breakfast special at Daeho Kalbijjim Korean Restaurant in Vegas.
Great price, amazing taste — totally loved it 💛 We had the jangteo-gukbap, seolleongtang, and yukgaejang, and they were all so good We're definitely going back. Everything else looked delicious too, so next time We're trying the dried pollack soup and the veggie bibimbap!

Edit: Updated review December 2025
How is this place slept on? Just got out of dinner with family and friends and it was EMPTY HERE. The food is so good. So fresh. My husband's first time trying galbijjim and he loved it. They beef was so tender and the spices were spot on.
If you are looking for a great meal and a quiet setting this place is not busy. Our server was very attentive too.

So delicious! My brother ordered for my family so not entirely sure what the name of some of the dishes were since I was late.
All the dishes were so flavorful and filling. We had something with raw beef and pears(?) and it was sooo good. Next was a cheesy galbijjim dish with meat, veggies, rice cakes and cheese and they melted the cheese with a torch! My dad isn't huge into foreign food an he loved it. Now he wants to find it back in his city. 😂
Would highly suggest going! You won't regret it.

Located at the H-Mart Mall off Decatur and Sahara.
Daeholu L. Was our server he was friendly and accommodating.
What we ordered:
1.) Galbi Japchae appetizer $12.95 this was a bit too sweet for my taste.
2.) Galbi-tang with extra beef $27.95 The broth could have been seasoned a bit more and beef pieces were small even with the up charge for extra beef.
3.) Vegatable Bibimbab $21.95 My friend said this dish was tasty, and he liked it.
4.) Bulgogi Bibimbab $25.95 my other friend said it was tasty.

This somewhat intimidating Korean spot is excellent for a special group dinner. Recommend going with someone familiar with Korean food. The menu is pretty large and it’s not always clear what menu items will look like when it comes out. But if you’re patient and check some reviews out ahead of time your group can have a wonderful meal.
Got starters of dumplings and a glass noodle dish. The dumplings are fire and the glass noodles were very good too. I think there’s a dumpling soup I’ll have to get next time. Probably don’t need any starters unless you’re super hungry. The main dishes are gonna be more than enough to fill up.
Got Daeho suyuk which is cooked on a burner at the table. It’s a beef brisket dish in broth and topped with A LOT of scallion/green onion. The brisket was delicious, would probably add extra meat next time.
Got the Daeho kalbijjim. It’s the dish they blast with a burner at the table if you order it topped with cheese. Ours had short rib, rice cake and corn cob pieces. Comes in a pretty spicy red sauce. It’s a big pot of food enough for 4 or more. Not cheap at around 80 bucks. It’s really good.
Place itself is higher end looking, clean modern decor. Yes they have younger guys working there and may not be the most attentive, but it’s fine. They get the job done and mean well.
It’s going to be a pricey meal if you get a few things to share. But it’s an experience and the setting is nice enough to make this a special occasion spot. Spend some time with the menu and check reviews to feel more comfortable ordering. Worth a visit.

Angel was a phenomenal server! She was so friendly and went out of her way to check on which dishes could be made vegetarian. The food itself was also amazing.

We first tried this was in San Francisco and had to come here since there's one in Vegas. It was excellent and cheaper than in SF. I only wish they offered a smaller portion, there were 2 of us and we barely finished half the food. We came early for dinner and it was pretty quiet. They are about 15 minutes away from the strip.

The food was delicious. The kalbijjim had a ton of flavor and everything was so tender and the broth was fantastic. Highly recommend. The cheese I didn’t feel would have been necessary but I did like it when it was on the corn that we added. The glass noodles are a thicker noodle so if you prefer thin then don’t add them. The dumplings were full of meat and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend even though it is very expensive.
Service though is insanely slow. It took use literally 30 minutes to get a box and pay. Once you put in your order that’s it. You never see them again.

It's one of the best dishes ever created. Worth planning a trip around just making a visit here. Make sure you have 2-3 people with to actually finish it though!
