Dakao Sandwiches is a hidden gem in Chinatown. They make delicious banh mi sandwiches, pork buns, and my favorite—banh cuon (pork rice rolls). It’s a family-owned business, and the owners and employees are always friendly. The food is fresh, the prices are reasonable, and it’s a great spot for authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommend!
Simple and straightforward. Ordered extra pate- not sure what it would taste like with regular because it was indecipherable. Also the store did not look particularly clean which gave me pause when so many things are deli style and not cooked, very easy to get food poisoning. Anyways ignorance is bliss.
It's unassuming take-out Banh Mí place. Their sandwiches were good, especially the grilled pork and steak. The baguette that they use is light and doesn't have the hoagie, thickness type of bread.
