DB cajun kitchen. I went for a particular item, but they did not have it. It is a seasonal item only but what I did was very good. The Gumbo Changa was unexpected but surprisingly good and the consommé sauce that came with it made it was even better. The combo plate with the jambalaya and Shrimp and grits were really good, I ate on that meal for the whole day well worth the trip. Would I go back? Yes I would go back but next time maybe not order so much food cause I was stuffed.

First off came in excited and very hungry after being on the road for 16 hours . I ordered the Gumbo tacos with no green onions. Now the Gumbo tacos have Shrimp, sausage, chicken and cheese with a side of gumbo dipping gravy.Now when I got my order I could smell the onions so I went back and told the young lady I said no onion . She said what it has onions I didn’t even know it came with onions ? I said yes and I told you no onion . She told the guys in the back and for some reason the young guy with the pretty eyes got to cussing and was mad because he had to make it over. I then was thinking to myself girl you just need to get your money back ! So now my tacos are now remade and they don’t look nothing like the Tacos on the screen or the first tacos that was made with the green onions .. it was only a few shrimp and a lot of sausage. Like I said I was hungry so I was about to eat them but now I open the gumbo gravy to dip them in . I just looked at the gravy that was barely there and the stitch of burnt gravy hit me . I just threw the food out . It was waist of a trip / money and the customer service stinks.

I came here for the first time April11th 2024 around 7:30pm I ordered two orders of jambalaya I was very disappointed I did not like it very salty and the rice were very mushy and too spicy for me! Grandson ordered gumbo he said it was good!?Parking: Parking good plenty of

I left with out my food. I set for 50 minutes for fried catfish. At that point give me my money back. On top of that the girl cooking touched a cigarette box that another worker brought from outside and never washed her hands or put on gloves. I watched her for at least 7 minutes touch food without washing her hand. It’s a no for me

I got the regular shrimp and grits to go and it was a very generous portion. Easily 2 meals for me. The grits were super smooth and flavorful and the shrimp were tasty and cooked well. Will definitely be coming back to taste more of their offerings!

So I was very disappointed with this place today. So I ordered the catfish basket. I waited 50 minutes and never received my food so at this point just give me my money back. On top of that. One of the workers goes out side and picks up an empty cigarette box and brings it back in a hands it to the cook. The cook takes it with her bare hands and throws it away never washing her hands and just goes back to preparing food.. no glove either. Sprinkling seasoning, grabbing food with unwashed bare hands. It's a no for me. Never returning.
We had a minor inconvenience with our food and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were happy . The food was amazing and the customer service was top tier!! I highly highly highly recommend coming here. They do not disappoint!

Overall D 'Z would be 5 stars except customer service can be spotty at times here, just depends on who's at the register it seems. Our 1st time here customer service was pleasant & inviting, but our next visit the young lady that took our orders didn't greet us or smile and asked if we would be tipping. Mind you this is before our order was taken which threw my wife off cause one would think that would follow after we either paid or got our orders. (We always tip good or bad service) If the food wasn't so delicious we probably would not frequent this place as much. Hopefully it was just the one time.

Let me tell you. AMAZING!! Stumbled in here on accident and it did not disappoint. I never have a problem waiting for food knowing that it will come out hot and fresh and boy did it taste amazing. I wish I would've taken pictures of the food before we devoured it but we ended up getting the bang bang shrimp and chicken Alfredo.
