I have been getting 2 turkey clubs here every month for years from here. The sandwich is constantly good and has gone up in price since I first started coming here (which i understand and still felt like it was a good vale). However, over the past 2 months, the sandwich is NOTICABLY smaller. They are still as good but I'm being charged more for less. The food is still good but I'm not going to spend my money where I feel I'm being cheated. Eat somewhere that isn't disingenuous with their customers.

We locals know that South Point Casino is a blessing for us, but some of us would like to show off the great desserts that are the sparkles of Del Mar Deli. But sadly every single time I get some delicious morsel of sweetness, they destroy it by putting in containers that cannot contain them. Cakes - smashed, cookies - broken; desserts ruined. Hard to share the joy of your desserts, please do better.

Me and the Missus rolled into the Southpoint hotel, where the Del Mar deli is located.
At first, we considered ordering the steak and eggs with a side of burnt toast and Jell-O
I’m joking, they didn’t have that.
We split a tuna sandwich on toasted sourdough with some potato salad. Very solid.
Not the best we’ve ever had, but how often do you get the best you’ve ever had.
They have a lot of pastries and sweet treats in the display case which we will be partaking on in the next day or two.
Good place to get your eat on before you lose your money gambling.

I’ve had mixed experiences here. Their bagels are very good, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Their scallion cream cheese has fresh scallions and is addicting! Today we had a couple desserts to go, the Boston cream cake and cinnamon bun. I was hoping the cinnamon bun would be gooey and tender but it was dry even in the middle and I only tried a bite before giving up on it. The Boston cream cake is pretty good, it has chocolate chips inside and a cream layer between layers of white cake and chocolate on top. I’ve had their cheesecake, which is very good. It seems hit or miss depending on what you order. The service is always fast and friendly and they work to get the food out as quickly as possible even when it’s busy. There is a good variety of desserts so everyone can probably find something they’d like.

Went for quick to-go food for the room. Good prices and great quality. We split a grilled chicken sandwich and toll house bar. The bar was awesome! I am picky about my desserts and I was impressed. The grilled chicken didn't taste like anything but the lettuce, tomato, onion was fresh. The workers were nice. Cheesecake looked very good.

I was told about the pastrami sandwich and their “big ass” apple pies and other delicious desserts. And, so I made the visit to Del Mar Deli after watching movie at the theater. Both theater and the deli were located inside South Point Casino in Vegas; I didn’t have to walk far.
The line was about 5-8 people long and continued on until after I got my one slice pizza order. I had originally came for the large apple pie turnovers. Unfortunately, they ran out. What was left were other desserts such as extra large chocolate chip cookies and slices of cakes. Every dessert was large size, nothing small.
The slice of cheese pizza was not worth $5. It was ok, nothing to brag about. The slice wasn’t even large like the desserts offered.
Also, nothing special to note regarding the two staff positioned at the register, but service was fast. The order wait took several minutes.
I would return to Del Mar Deli for their apple turnovers and possibly try other desserts.

This is the smaller version of the bagle cafe in Summerlin . Best bagels in the valley, best deli in the valley . Atmosphere? It’s in a corner of a casino ! There is none

Incredibly overpriced food that’s very mediocre. The portions are small and everything I’ve had so far has been just ok. The desserts taste off and have weird textures. Don’t recommend.

This Deli was clean and the employees were friendly. I had a piece of carrot cake from here. The piece of cake was a good size and definitely shareable. I think I paid $10 for the slice of cake. The size was appropriate for the price. The cake itself was just ok, not great. Carrot cake flavor profile is a bit different for everyone. I will try the deli again but try the coconut cake instead. The had a nice selection of different things you could choose from.

My First World Problem:
I live outside of Vegas and drive approximately 50 minutes each way to get my bagels at the Bagel Cafe' almost every 2 weeks for the past 10 years. I buy 14 bagels, put them in my freezer, and love them. I question the 1.5+ hour round-trip drive to get them. Today, I decided to save 5-10 minutes off my drive, avoid heavier traffic and went to the Del Mar Deli instead. I had no idea this place opened 1.5 hours later than the Bagel Cafe' and arrived 45 minutes before they opened. My fault as I should have Googled their hours instead of assuming their hours, especially with a long drive.
There were still at least six staff there getting ready for business. The bagels I came for were all done and ready and in the glass showcase inches from me. I asked if I could get the 14 to go and I would pay cash (the cost is $18 and I wanted to leave $25) since I drove 40 minutes to get bagels. I feel they should have helped me and let the cashier know to ring up 14 bagels and put the cash in the register as the 1st sale of the day.
I did not want to come home without my bagels, so I drove 45 minutes further to the Bagel Cafe'. I ended up spending 3+ hours today to get my bagels. A little common sense and understanding by the Del Mar-Deli could have avoided my waste of time and this review. I even called the boss after they opened to let him know what happened and give him a chance to not have me write a negative review. He was rude, not business-minded, and lost a loyal customer.
