I work night shifts, so I often find myself passing by Del Taco between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM. Every single night, without fail, the drive-thru is packed with cars lined up, which says a lot about how popular this location is even during the toughest hours.
Tonight I decided to stop, and the experience really stood out to me. Jesus was working that shift, and from the very start, I could tell how efficient and professional he was. He greeted me with kindness apologized for the wait and had a great attitude, even though the line was long and it was just him and one other person.
While waiting, I noticed the driver in front of me was extremely impatient. I overheard him while he was ordering. He was short and clearly was not happy that there had to be a wait. Even after that, Jesus stayed calm, professional, and polite. The driver couldn’t even wait for his food. He got frustrated, peeled out of the drive thru, and left. Through it all though Jesus didn’t let it shake him. He kept it pushing, stayed respectful, and moved right on to getting our out.
As someone who manages and runs a restaurant myself, I understand how stressful it can get when you’re understaffed and dealing with high-paced traffic, especially during rushes. It takes a lot to handle that kind of pressure with professionalism and positivity. Jesus showed patience, hustle, and great customer service, even when others weren’t treating him kindly.
I left that night with a lot of respect for him. Jesus deserves recognition for his hard work and positive attitude. He really went above and beyond to make the experience a good one!

Thank you for responding. I understand things get busy, especially late at night after big events, but I left the review because of how disappointing it was to wait in a long line only to receive cold fries after a concert. I had my mom and kids with me, and by the time we were out of the parking lot, it was too late to turn around.
I wasn’t upset, just hungry and hoping for better quality given how many people were coming through. Fresh food matters — especially when we’re already waiting 20+ minutes. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve things for the next rush after events like this

These tacos are worse than Taco Bell. At least I can tolerate Taco Bell. We purchased food here and threw it away. We ate inside, and the quality of the food and service was unbelievably bad.A person who seemed to be the manager was doing a repair on something over top of open food. I'm from Virginia and was told that Del Taco was good. I'm a foodie who visits a lot of restaurants all over, and this one ranks very low. Will not recommend it. Will never speak badly about Taco Bell again. This was the South Lv Blvd location.

My husband just got food and was extremely over charged!!!! I am furious! He didn’t pay attention, and now we are out over $10 for 2 $1 tacos and a medium fry and a small drink. No. Their meals with large burritos are $10.
