Hey, Let's go to Dickies BBQ. No thanks, not anymore. 2 meat plate and drink for $30? What meat should I get? Burnt ends, nope don't have them. Okay. Sides, no hush puppies, yams, or mac and cheese? Let me weirdly enough get french fries and beans that will scald your mouth."New manager, Better Food"? Just because that's true doesn't mean it's true. If you have to close for a day to get all your meat in order I'd probably be back to try it. I'd rather go to a sit down BBQ for the price and more hospitality.
So let's start with the good - I got the pork platter and everything tasted pretty good. Note they seemed to be out of quite a bit of stuff. They relaced kielbasa with brisket to their credit. Seemed odd though as it was still 7pm. The potato casserole side dish was a pleasant surprise and almost hot, which was a nice change from the lukewarm meat. And that is because everything is kept in this food cart behind where you order. They literally pull out trays with pulled pork stir it up and give you some. Put the plastic wrap over again and return. For the meats they're again pulling out mounds of plastic wrap in which is the meat, cut off a bit, wrap up and toss back in this cart. It's without a doubt the worst way I've ever seen any kind of food prepared. Let's be real, this might be common for BBQ that's smoked for hours, but other places don't let you see it and maybe they toss the stuff in a microwave for a minute before serving. Here it's in plain sight and I would've left if I hadn't been so hungry and wanting BBQ. Oh of course I needed a drink. They only seem to have thick plastic souvenir style cups so I grab the small one. We're talking kids size or water cup at Panda. It's nearly $4! Overall, there was more than enough food, but I spent more than I do at AYCE sushi or Korean BBQ and quality of food far lower and most was lukewarm at best. Oh, cause of the small cup I decided to eat some of the food there. No music, no TV, nobody else there. Literally one guy working. Atmosphere sucks too.
Usually when you see a sign that says “new owner, better food” you expect a better experience. Not the case here, $47 dollars for 2 people and the prices don’t match the menu. Couldn’t get a receipt and the ice cream is broken. Avoid this place and go to Jessie Rae’s instead.
Honestly before I used to come here it was delicious but now they have a new management and it was not the same as before. First the customers services was not good the young was busy playing video games and after the 5th time I told him I was ready he seem that he got upset than we ask where is the side order and he gave me an attitude saying can you read the sign is on the other side of the wall so walk to the other side of the wall to see the side orders after that we got our food and the meat was cold and our sides was overheated. So I ask if they could warm up the meat so threw it on a pan all together to warm it up so that just lost the taste and flavor of the meat. So overall I came in her bringing someone new that never had Brisket and pulled back pork and it was just disappointing. I think they just lost a long time customer. Is not the same from beginning to end. I spent over $50 for 2 people. I would've expected better customer service and food!! The only reason I gave a 1 star because they try to warm up my food.
They like to steal photos of other people food and post it as their own. This is not the first time they have done this. Wouldn’t eat here at all. No idea where all the pictures of this food really comes from. Sending these screenshots to corporate at well as leaving them here. DO BETTER
So tonight my mom and I went to The Dickeys on Rainbow Blvd in Las Vegas NV and the bill was over $80. When I asked about the huge price difference they said that corp changes the price whenever they want. It was really sad , I paid $14 for six wings. I paid $45 for the Picnic PAC and on the board it said it should be $35. The food wasn’t really that good. I am NOT going there again. I was disappointed with the overcharging and the taste of the food. You lost a customer.
Do not go here. I grew up in Texas where Dickey's started. My family went all the time. I was happy to find one here in Vegas. I used to go on Saturday and Monday for the daily special. Sadly they have new management that does not honor them anymore. You can't even use the deal on the app at this location. And they raised the prices. We will never go again. I hope they close.
Yesterday after an 11 hour road trip decided to stop and eat at Dickies Las Vegas Blvd. Restroom was filthy with vomit all over the sink no soap it was disgusting!! We had already ordered or else we definitely would left, Food was over priced approx. $20 per plate ?! Food was okay, I guess??? We wanted to drink water because had to take medicine and they said they ran out of cups for water, they didn’t offer a small plastic cup. We ordered a drink with our food and all drinks were flat . Never will we be back to that filthy place. Just to think about our experience when I went to the restroom makes my stomach sick.???
Advertising can be deceiving, looked so good and fresh on ads...just to be disappointed. My chicken was room temperature at best, half the meats in the menu were not available and my plate was not worth $20 (see picture) drink NOT included for that price. We were disappointed and felt ripped off. Save your money and go somewhere else.
This was my first and last visit to Dickey's Barbecue Pit. The items available and prices are displayed above the ordering area. Six chicken wings $12.00...seem high but I wanted try them. The cashier rang up my order and said the 6 wings were $14.95 plus tax? I stated the menu over head list $12.00. He apologized but stated that was the price. Why not change your menu? Why not tell the customer before ordering? Again my first and last visit.

Meats ordered were very well done but moist. NO hint of smoke on any meats. Expensive but marginally acceptable portions. Slaw very tasty, but beans, potato salad, and baked potato virtually tasteless. Extra pickles & extra pickles ordered but not included in sealed takeout packaging. NEW ownership skimping on everything including returning, longtime customers. NOT recommended, competitors much better
Food was reheated and not to correct temperature. It was cold leftovers. And way overpriced. Small portions. Restaurant was dirty no prices on the menu. Not a Dickey’s barbecue at all they had a totally different menu and just overall a bad experience. I will never return again, I been eating here for over ten years and new management is very bad.
Dickey's Barbecue Pit, 7430 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste 110, Las Vegas, NV 89123, United States. We wanted to eat sparerib and chicken. The place looked closed but was open and we were able to order our food. We selected take away and eat it at home. The taste of the food is excellent, even above our expectations. Really good place for meat. Small fries with it and our meal was complete. The service in the shop is relaxed and efficient. Enjoyment!!
I see they have new management, but they still have a hard time hiring decent staff. The food here is usually pretty good, but inconsistent. The service however is still very poor. I went twice since they re-opened. First time the employee just didn't really seem like she cared much. The second time, I walk up around 8:30, and as I'm walking up the employee locks the door and says we are closed. That's not how you treat customers, or just another human being in general. I will not be returning.
I used to visit this location regularly prior to covid and was always a good value for the money. Since covid its been open and closed multiple times, so I've been visiting other locations. Tonight and returned and got my regular 2 meat plate and a drink. Was surprised to see the price had gone up $9 compared to other locations. My bill was now $30 which I could have a had a full course steak dinner next door at outback. Sadly the portions have decreased in size, the soda was flat and the free ice cream machine still remains off. I ate while about 6 flies kept flying all over me driving me nuts. While Dickeys is still a great chain - this location is stupidly expensive and poorly run. Avoid this location as they price gouge compared to others and skimp on the food portions. The cleanliness also is questionable with all the flies all over - in vegas where we don't normally have flies.....
