Local bar restaurant with a chill vibe and decent food. Sunken chairs are very comfy!

We are locals. We witnessed 3 people behind the bar. Only one of them were upbeat. We were charged $8 per shot even though we were gambling. So, we spent a bunch of money gambling and got a bill for the appetizer and the shots. Not going visit that neighborhood bar anytime soon. Thanks for loving your neighborhood 😱

I have eaten here many times and most times never have a problem. My food was delivered in a timely manner. But the quality, awful! Burnt onion rings and cold chicken wings. There’s only one possible reason for it. I know my food didn’t sit there in the window. What the heck? When I’m paying $$ for mine and my kids dinner I expect at least decent quality. Not perfection, but not burnt and not cold.
The only positive thing about this location is that their kitchen is open all night.
This place used to have good food but recently it has become evident that they are reusing their oil for prolonged periods of time and the food tastes quite bad.
It is also it is very rare to get good service at this location. The majority of the bartenders are not customer service driven and will deliberately ignore you if you are not part of their clique and will be rude to you for no reason. There is no such thing as service with a smile at this place.
A party of 6, on a Thursday night an hour after happy hour. We were the only table/group being served. All the other patrons were sitting at the bar. She took our drink orders all at once without writing it down, along with our food order. She was asked if she got everything and that we don't mind repeating ourselves. She came back several times asking about our drinks and food order. Never got our appetizers. By the time our food came out, we were done with our drinks (which was put in the machine wrong apparently) and wasn't given a refill. The brisket sandwiches and sliders were good. Could have been better.
Better than lots of other similar bars

Not a vibe. Poor customer service from the male bartender and racist, homophobic customers are allowed to and entertained as they complain that your phone is too loud but they can be heard across the bar. Mind you when asked by the male bartender i respectfully turned my phone down to a low, barely audible level. Still wasn't enough, for context I was watching snl Saturday update.

Had a great time watching college football. The staff were fun, welcoming, and interactive. The food was good and the beer was cold. Looks like the place could be off the hook in the evenings, only went during the day. Will return.
