Don Tortaco Mexican Grill #5

Nice people but I just got the most disgusting burrito I’ve ever had. Just a tortilla filled with oil, salsa, and a small amount of rice and two pieces of shrimp. Will not be finishing it. It literally burst open and liquid came out.

I usually go to a different location and really love the food. I will not be returning to this location.

It was clean inside. Service was fast and friendly. Cook didn’t even wait to receive the order she came and looked at what I was ordering and immediately got on it. Food actually tasted good too.

NEVER HAS CINNAMON ON THE CHURROS!! Very disappointing and they have such a bad after taste when u eat it without the cinnamon

I rarely leave bad reviews for a local business, but my family were big supporters of this restaurant, having ordered dozens of times in large amounts for 4-10+ people and spending hundreds of dollars there. The last two times we ordered, we were given no salsa with our order. I'd have no problem paying extra for sides of salsa, but this option is not available on the online menu via Grubhub. We are big spicy food lovers and can't enjoy food plain with no salsa--it's a standard component of a Mexican meal. I'm highly disappointed in the customer service and how it has completely gone downhill recently. Since this restaurant refuses to give us salsa OR provide a way for us to purchase the salsa we need, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I came at 6:30am after leaving the strip..I don't care what anyone says older guy working was great..Food was hot and fresh, 24hr restaurant was clean, and outside was clean

So never had any issues with them before but this time nearly broke a tooth on an actual stick inside my food. Like a twig from a tree branch. Though it was a bone at first but after inspection it was a stick. I'm glad it was in mine cause I got this food initially too cover my roommate who just got home from work to find McDonald's serves bugs worth their burgers. (Durango McDonald's if you're curious). But still not a pleasant experience. Please be more careful in the future. I know it's late but I work regular 12h shifts, I don't get time to cook at home anymore, and after dealing with angry customers all day I just wanna sit and enjoy some good Mexican food. Again, haven't had this issue before so it's probably a one off thing but still not something that should happen. Finding a stick in your food just makes you wonder where it came from and how it got there and makes me question if I should trust what I'm eating. I know there very well could be an explanation though so I'm not gonna be angry about it. Again please just try to be more careful on the future.

My order was incorrect and the shrimp cocktail was disgusting. The shrimp was cut up into very tiny pieces and there was just ketchup...lots of ketchup and tiny pieces of shrimp.

I’ve bean going to don tortaco’s all over NV I will say the food tasted good and I’m used to the price but for almost 10$ on a California burrito (which is fine) I have never received it so small it was half the size of all the other locations I’ve bean to I love this chain but I’ll never come back to this one thy gave me a Taco Bell sized burrito for 10 dollars

I had just left the Urgent Care and decided to get me and my son a beef burrito. Online it's say $7 so I order it with sour cream and cheese only. The girl said $23! I asked why she said it's a extra $2 each for the sour cream and a extra $2 each for the cheese. I put my card back and walked right out!

02/25/25 07:14 p.m. Order# 103 2 Fish Burritos, 2 Beef Tacos, 1 Carne Asada Burrito with extra cheese, 1 Cheese Quesadilla. Girl who tried to take my order barely spoke a word of English. I had to repeat my order in Spanish to make sure she understood and got everything. Everything was rang up and my receipt says $45.93. After waiting over 30 minutes, she tried to tell me my order was ready but it was still missing the cheese quesadilla. After waiting almost another 10 minutes, I was finally given my order. She read off of their copy of my receipt to verify everything I ordered was in the bag. Stupid me didn't take the bag over to a table and take everything out with my daughters to verify everything was supposed to be in there. So when I got home I discovered I was given only 1 Fish Burrito. I waited for over 40 minutes just to have my order missing a $10 item, and like a complete idiot I placed $5 in the tip jar when I first gave my order. My Carne Asada burrito even had NO cheese on it at all after I paid for EXTRA cheese which is even notated on my receipt. Then when I tried calling to complain, the line was constantly busy as if they had taken the phone off of the hook to prevent people from calling in. I have had a long day and wanted to just sit and relax when I got home and eat my food while watching TV but I can't and I refuse to drive back to your restaurant because my anger and temper are so bad right now, I would probably say or do something I would later regret. I couldn't even enjoy the food I did receive but it was ice cold due to it taking over 40 minutes to make my order. I will NEVER eat any ANY of your restaurants again. With this level of incompetence, your business license should be revoked.

Usually I always brag about this place but definitely not today especially after I was nice and mentioned how the Thai place I came from messed up my order and clearly no one gives a shit anymore about customer service this is exactly how businesses go down by hiring incompetent employees that just don’t give a shit about their work and this was 17 dollars for peppers tortilla and onion 😵‍💫😭
