The food quality here has suffered tremendously the past few times I have gone. This is our work groups Thursday night spot for years. Sorry I cannot have my work groups come to Vegas and take them out for mediocre food.

Don't even know why they're called Doña María TAMALES, no flavor, bland, dry..Me and my daughter also got a revolution inside our stomach right after leaving the place and she had chicken fingers.

Always good a little bit of a wait for our lunch to arrive after ordering. Worth the additional wait time.

I have driven by this restaurant many times over the past 20 or so years. I've always been surprised that it is still open. From the outside it looks like a dive. Somewhere maybe locals might eat. Imagine my delight when we finally decided to go inside! The restaurant is obviously Mexican themed, bright, clean and the staff is very, very friendly. Food is served quickly and hot, and oh man! Is it tasty!! I have had the menudo, enchiladas and of course the signature tamales. The first time we came we tried one of each. My favorite is the cheese. I am not one for big hot spice and these are NOT that. They are just super tasty! I make sure I hit this place for a tamale each time we visit Vegas, which is all the time. And I make sure we grab a dozen on the way home so I have some to get me through until we come back. They freeze nicely and thaw n heat pretty well too. You have to try this place!!

Great Mexican food but the price is steep and a little to salty. I do love the ground beef enchiladas and tortilla soup so, I will be back

Not as good! Normally the tamales and enchiladas taste way better than they did today.

So sad to write this about Dona Maria's!!. Ordered steak fajitas, $21 a la carte, $28 with rice/beans: The onions were sautéed to death and then it tasted like they tossed in the chunks of steak and bell pepper and kept going so it all tasted like nasty overcooked onions. Fajitas aren't served with lime or lemon. I asked for some, but it was no match for the oily onion taste. Server couldn't care less when asking if everything was ok and really didn't want an answer, because they just walked off to run the card. You can be the most expensive Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas, but not if you're serving mediocre food and ignoring customers when they point out how bad a meal is.

I ordered 12 tamales; 6 pork, 6 beef. The beef tamales were good with the tiniest amount of spice, but a great ratio of beef to masa. The pork tamales, normally my choice, were not so good. There was still a good meat to mass ratio but the pork was incredibly bland. I'll order from Dona Maria again but will forego the pork.

Both eat in and togo are every good. Food and service. Last order I called in and picked it up.

Such a wonderful place. The service was quite attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere just made me feel like I stepped into South of the border eatery.

If you drive by here everyday and never stopped, you are messing up. I've never had a bad dish or experience here. Over 30 visits.

The best Mexican food in Las Vegas! Large open dining with a ethnic decor. Great bar and Margaritas!
