My husband and I have played here a few times as we frequently shop in the area, but we probably won’t be back due to the inconsistency in the rules & unsatisfactory service. On prior visits we were advised that you need to play $20 for free drinks but today, we were told that our bets must also be at least 50cents lol. Absurdly interesting especially given that he said it’s always been that way for the 11yrs he’s been employed with Dotty’s yet we were NEVER informed of it. He literally walked by the machine we were playing, glanced at the screen and asked if we wanted a drink lol….but when my husband replied that he wanted a Stella Black, he proceeded to tell us this ridiculousness AFTER the fact lol.
Anyway, we’ve also frequent the one closest to us in Skye Canyon without any issues. They informed us UPFRONT that we do ask that you play at least $20 for free drinks but nothing about a minimum bet amt. lol. Also, the atmosphere and service is much better so sadly, we probably won’t be visiting this loc at Tropical Pkwy again.

I’m not a modest player by any means. That being said. Every year they send out a Xmas card for a cash voucher. My mail lady returned all my mail due to I’m selling my home. She made a mistake. I called Dotty’s, mind you the GM Stan and I used to be close acquaintances, if not friends. Been to his house many times. Parties with him countless occasions. And can you believe this guy vetoed giving me back my Xmas card for like 100 bucks? I’ve lost 6figures this year there and he turned me down for a 100 bucks. I asked him why and he won’t respond. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Remember Dotty’s. Over $100 (that I would lose in their casino) I’m going to Jackpot Joanie’s. Hope it was worth it

Well, as disappointing as the general manager, Stan was, I have to say there is a light at the end of the tunnel and her name is Megan. She is an assistant manager at Dottie’s and she manages over at the Bourbon Street on Sahara Rancho. I opened up a claim for my January red free play, and I got a phone call back later that day. Megan called and approved my slips she then followed up by asking my about my Xmas bonus. I told her not to worry about it. She refused and DID THE RIGHT THING. I CANT BELIEVE IT! Not only that but Megan took care of my wife’s Christmas bonus as well too. So my original review was a 1 star, but I have to give it a 4 star. I really want to bump it up to a 5 star review, but keeping aware of the matter of how poorly I got treated by the general manager (who was supposed to be a friend of mine for 12+ years).
On a very funny side note, I applied to be a bartender here (over 5 times) which I’m overqualified for the job and I am all but certain I did not get the job because of GM Stan as well.I don’t know what happened between me and this guy but keep business business and keep personal life your personal life.
