The first time I came here, I really liked the food — it had an authentic Taiwanese flavor. Unfortunately, my experiences after that made me not want to return.
1. I placed an online order, but when I arrived, I was told that my order had already been canceled without any prior notice.
2. I wanted to dine in, but I stood at the counter for a long time and no one came to assist me.
3. After waiting for quite a while, I was finally told that they could not serve food because they were unable to keep up.
Overall, I honestly don’t understand how a restaurant can operate this way. There was only one staff member handling the entire place. It feels like their main focus might be drinks and karaoke rather than running a proper restaurant, but the experience was truly disappointing.

Super cool for karaoke and the food was really good, they have invested a lot of time and money into this place. The karaoke rooms are very impressive.

One of the very best in restaurant and beverage services in Las Vegas. The full bar is packed with exotic and top shelf selections from Asian countries along with international liquors that you rarely see in one place. This is all class and etiquette with no barbecue vibes at all. The twenty five foot LED screens are everywhere including overhead and inside the VIP rooms which makes the whole place feel upscale and exciting.
The service is excellent and the entire restaurant is very clean with easy parking. The food is outstanding well seasoned and full of flavor. Even the fries were delicious and everything came out perfect. The hostess and waitresses are dressed in authentic Kimono and Thailand dress wear which adds to the theme and atmosphere. This is a truly welcomed themed restaurant in Las Vegas with another location in Oakland. A delicious environment and fantastic service from start to finish.

Love the food here, quite Taiwanese even though not very traditional. Great staff with wonderful service attitude. The only problem is the wait time, whatever how long they told you to wait, just double it.

The pork chop was dry and hard to eat. The pop corn chicken and other fried stuff were good though.

This place has the best Asian food in the area of Chinatown. I had the Lamb fried rice and it was absolutely amazing. Just thinking about it makes me want to get in the car and go. If you do go and you want to be entertained they have karaoke rooms that are open late til about 2 or 3 am and also on Thursdays they have entertainment for a low fee that includes dinner and a drink.
I will caution you they have a lot of private events, plan accordingly.

If you want some good and authentic Taiwanese food, Dragon Gate is the place to go. Must try are the various bentos, especially the pork chop. Also great if you come here for tapas and beer - they offer a variety of braised items that isn't found anywhere else in Vegas. Interior is well designed though I would prefer the lighting to be a little brighter? Service is extremely quick and the manager/owners are always friendly and easy to chat with. Anyone looking for a place to host friends or family, or just looking for a friendly place to have a great meal, come here.

I was going to order food but they told me all these fees they were going to charge me plus the cost of the meal so I did not order anything👎
Everything is overpriced here. We ordered Taiwanese fried chicken 鹽酥雞 but they totally burnt it. The chicken was black and very bitter which is rediculous because it is very hard to messed up with fried food.
Definitely not recommended

I’m not sure why, but when we walked in the front door, The city officer sitting there like a gangster told us we shouldn’t be here, but we were clearly go inside. We went inside to the karaoke bar and my friend started singing in the karaoke police meaning that Security came over and said don’t sing like that. I don’t know what’s going on with their security but people just wanna come sing and have fun but Security they’re telling you not to have fun not to sing and they’re scaring you away at the front door. The owner of this business is seriously rethink who they put in the front door because we left without spending any money just because the Security at the front door wanted to scare everybody away. Well guess what you did your job you are successful we left..

Dragon Gate Karaoke Restaurant is a stellar find in Las Vegas—even better than I expected! Their food is flavorful, bold, and generous—with standout dishes like stinky tofu, popcorn chicken, and bento boxes that truly remind you of Taiwanese night market classics. Drinks at the bar pair effortlessly with the salty, savory flavors. The karaoke rooms are absolutely beautiful—super comfy sofas, a powerful sound system, and lighting that elevates the party vibe. Whether you’re here for dinner or to sing into the early hours, you’ll enjoy stylish decor, fun energy, and a late-night scene that comes alive. As long as you don’t mind occasionally salty seasoning and are ready for some volume in service during peak times, Dragon Gate delivers an experience that’s well worth the hype.
