We decided to stop here on our way to the Mob Museum and I’m so glad we did! The food was excellent- pancakes, grilled cheese with the best tomato soup I’ve ever had, bagel sandwich, and a breakfast burrito was what our family ordered. And fresh squeezed OJ! Food was excellent, staff were very friendly, and the place has a very relaxed feeling to it. Don’t pass this place without trying it!
The restaurant's motto says it all, "Good food for good people…" It's clearly not a catchphrase, but a montra. Went there at 8 AM on a Sunday, and there was Chef making sure everything was perfect. Amazing food, excellent service, outstanding prices. What else can I say?
I’m kicking myself for not trying Eat during my past trips. I’ve always seen good reviews and even ate at Chow several times before it closed. We met Chef Natalie when we walked up. We ate inside. The restaurant had a good vibe. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits with added cheese. I also ordered the cinnamon biscuits with fruit to try out. Coffee was fresh as was the orange juice. The biscuits and gravy really good. The gravy was excellent, fluffy biscuits, and bacon with it. It all tasted really good. The plating was really nice too. The shrimp and grits were off the hook. Creamy grits with cheese and shrimp. The salsa topping combined well with the egg and bacon. Absolutely delicious! The cinnamon biscuits were incredible. I was expecting something sweet and gooey. These were almost French toast like with a little Sugar and lots of cinnamon. The berries and fruit paired very well with the dish. I will be coming back the next time I visit. I had the opportunity to chat with Chef Natalie after our meal. I thanked her for the delicious meal. Go check it out and go Eat!
Having eaten here 5 years ago, we decided to go back. Both times had the most delicious breakfast ever! The first time had a corn beef hash it was splendid, not to salty. This time had huevos motulanis for something different. Talk about wonderful melody of flavor and highly recommend it.
Delicious, fresh, creative food. We got to wave at Chef Nat, which was super cool. The Benedict specials are over the top!
Loved this slightly off-the-beaten path eatery with it's fresh food, relaxed vibe, and good food. The chilequiles were excellent. AND THE BREAKFAST POTATOES. This is what a potato SHOULD be at breakfast!
Absolutely loved this place. First time. Excellent service. we love the truffle egg sandwich and pan seared pork chop with gravy. The portion was pretty big.
The food is great. We ordered the breakfast burrito. It was good but the sauce is a bit overwhelming. I would say, ask for the sauce on the side. My friend ordered the biscuits & gravy, and pancake. Customer service was amazing. Ioana was very attentive and pleasant. I definitely recommend you ask her to take care of you.
The place is OVERRATED!! The service was very slow and they made me wait 15 minutes before seating me on a table and they let someone who came after me in because my friend was vaping outside!! And i had to wait 5 minutes more because of that . when i got in i was shocked that there were many empty tables!!! After we ordered the food it took forever to come and the food was okey but not like what i read about Overall, a waste of time and will not recommend
I like the Mom and Pop vibe with the young, colorful, local staff. The service is great but make sure to make reservations. I also noticed this place is a Recovery Friendly workplace, that is awesome! Truly a great local business doing it right! Try the Pancakes and the Shrimp and Grits! You'll be happy you did!

Superb experience. I ordered biscuit and gravy with bacon and 2 easy-fried eggs. Service is excellent and food came out fast and hot. Food is delicious. Perfect breakfast to start off the day. Price is also very reasonable.
We had read about Eat when planning our trip to Las Vegas and were eager to give it a try because we look for places that are conscientious about ingredients and with healthier options. The food was so good that we ate there five mornings in a row for breakfast so we could try as much of the menu as possible. There was nothing we tried that disappointed! The cinnamon biscuits were our favorite, and the only thing we ordered more than once. Out of this world flavor, not too sweet, and a perfect portion for sharing. In general, the portions are generous and good for sharing--we pretty much always took leftovers with us. Other highlights included the truffled egg sandwich and chilaquiles. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. I highly recommend!
We visited this black owned establishment on Friday, September 9, 2022. We didn’t make reservations prior to and I don’t believe you can do so. We decided to come to this restaurant on a Friday morning. It’s not open earlier in the week. The restaurant does have cooling misters right outside of it to keep patrons cool. Vegas has sweltering heat this time of year. Upon arrival we entered the restaurant and it was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. We did see the owner chef Nina Young sitting right outside the restaurant when we arrived. She seemed to be quite casual and down to earth. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and able to be seated immediately upon arrival. We got a nice table right by the kitchen. We were given paper menus which were on a clipboard. Customers can flips from one page to another to view all the menu items. From the menu options, it does appear they have some new creative dishes on the menu. This includes prime rib hash among other Southwestern cuisine inspired dishes. Our waitress came right over shortly after we were seated and was helpful in assisting us with menu options selections. We did see the owner also come in and grab some sandwiches. I believe these were for a catering event. She did have a restaurant called Old Soul, but I don’t think that it’s open to the general public anymore. We ordered the following menu items: Pomegranate iced tea unsweetened, Short stack golden brown pancakes, Strawberries and blueberries, Thin cut pan fried pork chops, Deviled eggs, and Truffled egg sandwich. The drinks came out first. The Pomegranate tea is only sold as unsweetened, so I was able to sweeten it with sugar. The tea had a refreshing authentic pomegranate taste and I greatly enjoyed it. It also comes with free refills as well. The food came out about 20 minutes after our drinks. We received our pancakes first. The pancakes had lightly crisp edges and were pretty delicious. They also add butter in the batter, so we didn’t have to add any butter to these pancakes. They paired so perfectly with the syrup provided. The porkchops were seasoned extremely well and had a light crispness to them. They were savory and so perfectly cooked. The pork gravy that came with them was also quite delicious on top. It tasted like a creamy based gravy. My boyfriend greatly enjoyed the Truffled egg sandwich. He stated the mushrooms were cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The bacon on the sandwich was also nice and crispy. The potatoes were perfectly crisp and seasoned well also. The pork chop plate did come with potatoes and eggs. The eggs were scrambled well as I requested and perfectly cooked. As my boyfriend stated, the potatoes were quite crisp. They didn’t contain any of the mixed vegetables that can make potatoes soggy. The Deviled eggs were fried and very tasty. This is the first time I’ve had fried Deviled eggs and they were quite delicious. Their Deviled eggs come with jalapeño salsa, which gives it a bit of a spicy kick. The portion sizes at this restaurant are pretty amazing. You will definitely get full off of your food. My meal even came with fluffy toast, but I wasn’t even able to eat it. I was so full off of my main courses. This restaurant has very efficient service and the staff is very professional. I was able to use the restroom without incident while here, which was clean. All of the food was delicious and we greatly enjoyed ourselves. I really wish that Old South was still open so we could’ve patronize that business as well. I think Eat. as a restaurant is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It is one of its best kept secret. I would love to return to this establishment when I come back to Vegas to try some of the other dishes. This restaurant has a steady flow of patrons that come in and out. I see why their business is good. They also have a lot of people that come in to order to go orders and pick them up at the bar counter area. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone in Las Vegas that wants to try some great food with a wonderful atmosphere.
Visited here for the killer grilled cheese & tomato soup after reading some pretty good reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. Wonderful, lovely venue with an amazingly varied menu, all of which is presented really well (judging by what we saw coming out of the kitchen). Never really fancied pancakes before, but after seeing their’s I really want to go back to try them. Highly recommended.
The food was AMAZING. We got the breakfast bagel, the pan fried pork chops, and a single pancake. Our group is all self-proclaimed foodies and we enjoyed every bite. The staff were incredibly nice. Our server Carissa was very attentive. An absolute gem away from the touristy nonsense.
