Continuing our epic quest for the ultimate breakfast spot, we stumbled upon the Egg Works. And let me tell you, this place has now claimed the top spot on my breakfast leaderboard! 🥇
I went with my trusty favorite: chicken fried steak and eggs. My son opted for the classic biscuits and gravy. Both dishes arrived PIPING hot. Not just warm, not just hot—PIPING hot. A rare feat these days! The eggs were cooked to perfection, the chicken fried steak was just the right size and cooked to a crispy golden brown, and the gravy was seasoned just right. The breakfast potatoes were a delightful surprise—diced and generously seasoned, not your run-of-the-mill hash browns.
Service was on point, with our coffee cups never empty thanks to a pot left on the table. Prices were reasonable and in line with other breakfast joints. We arrived on a bustling Saturday morning around 9:00. The place was hopping, but there were plenty of servers, and we didn't have to wait for a table. By the time we left, though, there was a waitlist.
One pro tip: avoid the last table facing the glass door unless you want the sun to give you an unsolicited wake-up call. 🌞

I thought it was too expensive for what you get. The workers there are really super friendly though. Our waiter was really nice and on top of it. The fries were really good and crispy. My beef dip was extremely salty.

Taste is good, atmosphere is good, service is great, place is clean, price is a bit high. Prices have almost doubled over the past 6 months, and they charge more for each item if you pay with a card. 2 pancakes are $10 by themselves, they are big but still too expensive. 3 pieces of bacon for $5 and $5 for an Iced Tea. We had a party of 10, and my omlette was a little overcooked and not fluffy, but everything else ordered was good. There is always a wait, but it's never too long. Price is too high for us to keep going back. There are plenty of cheaper places that have the same, or better, quality of food. It's not bad, it's just too expensive now.

we live out or town and always look forward to seeing our favorite waitress COCO !!
she always puts a smile on our face and the service and food is outstanding .
Food and service were excellent, but do NOT sit outside lol very uncomfortable, cheap chairs, sit very low and everything kept falling off the tables through the small holes on them. Would definitely go back and try sitting inside, food was great!

This place has an awesome menu! From omelets to burgers. Even some Hawaiin style favorites! Our waitress was exceptional. Being 1st time customers, she brought us house made banana nut muffins 😋 Service was fast and delicious. Also, clean bathrooms!
