I want to recognize Edgard, the grill master at this El Pollo Loco, for delivering some of the best chicken I’ve ever had — consistently, every single visit. His work is the reason I choose this location, and honestly, I only come here when I know he’s on the grill. The chicken he prepares is always perfectly cooked — juicy, flavorful, beautifully charred, and never dry. You can tell he takes real pride in his craft and cares about the quality of every order that leaves his station. It’s rare these days to see someone so dedicated and precise in their work. Edgard sets the standard for what El Pollo Loco should taste like. His skill and professionalism turn a regular meal into something worth going out of my way for. Employees like him are the heart of the brand — and I truly hope corporate recognizes the value he brings to this location. Thank you, Edgard — you’ve earned my loyalty as a customer.

I spoke to the manger who said the salads came dressed at this location.. first of all, why would they prepare it with the dressing?? You’d be drowning the lettuce and it would get soggy. When we went back inside to ask for the dressing (which usually comes on the side) the cashier argued it was an extra charge. We told her it comes with the salads for the Meal for Two and she proceeded to give us only one. My fiancé asked for another and that’s when she said “it comes on the salad.” I spoke to the manager after and she confirmed they supposedly do dress them… this is how we received them… dry. She lied.

When my order was ready the person calling the order number was calling it in SPANISH, this is America where we speak ENGLISH. Your people should be bi-lingual so that people like me who doesn't speak another language can understand what is being said. Another customer had to tell me what the number was so that I could get my food. I was very offended by this and may never visit this location again.

I recently used to come almost a couple times a week and the chickens been great since the cook ernesto has been making it now lately it’s not worth coming here the other cooks either give dry chicken or old chicken will probably try another store sadly.

It's not the same old Pollo loco that you would give you value, tasty and a healthy meal. Now it's just overpriced small portions, and they definitely changed the recipe because now the chicken taste like rubber. It used to be our favorite fast food to eat, sad to say we will not return anytime soon.

The food was okay. The workers did not acknowledge us for ten minutes. They finally say how many I help you. We ordered and got condiments food was ready pretty quick checked food everything was right. We left headed home to eat. My tostada chicken was dry everything else was ok. Next time I visit get the same but with chicken thigh on top instead.

My only complaint is the sizes have gotten extremely small over the years, but that has nothing to do with the individuals working the register and the grill. They are phenomenal, and this is my favorite location.
