I have had good experiences it other El Pollo locos and I genuinely enjoy the food. Its my first time at this location and I was ready to enjoy the food however I ordered a chicken queasidilla that tasted like just tortilla and dry chicken. I could not see or taste any cheese. I ordered a chicken tortilla soup and it tasted like straight water and chicken. I asked for salsa and peppers and they gave me none so I couldnt even add flavor. They said they were out of the topping and green salsa so I aske for anything they had. I guess that was nothing since I got a tortilla with dry chicken and a cup of water with chicken that was suppose to be tortilla soup. Isn't cheese at leaste suppose to come in the soup? This meal was all together nasty.

The food was terrible. It was overcooked, and some of the tortillas weren’t even cooked properly. The person at the window wasn’t paying attention at all. I clearly asked for 8 green sauces and 4 red sauces, and instead I got 4 green sauces and 6 pico. I said red sauce, not pico. She also assumed I wanted a regular order without asking. There was absolutely no customer service. She didn’t care about fixing the mistake or listening. If I could, I would give this place 0 stars.

It's been probably 3 or 4 years since I last went to an El Pollo Loco because of their incredible lack of follow up on customer service issue I had with them but I decided to give them another chance. I've always liked the food but their customer service department SUCKS. I sent them emails and even a handwritten letter regarding a service issue I had in one of their restaurants in Southern California and they NEVER responded. So today I stopped in at one of their restaurants in North Las Vegas and I must say I was very pleased with everything. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was bright and clean, service was quick and food was great. This was at 11:30 on a Friday afternoon. I am glad that I stopped by and I'm happy to report that I have now put this chain back into my regular rotation for fast food restaurants that I regularly visit.

If i could put 0 stars I would. Everytime i come here they find a way to mess up. They specifically ask if i want tortillas or chips and when I say chips they don’t put either. When the guy handed me my drink the lid wasn’t on and it spilled all over me and he just closed the window without giving me napkins. And once again, they asked me what salsa I wanted and gave me just 1 of a whole other salsa. Just Terrible.
Been comming to this Pollo Loco for years. The manager Jaime and his staff are really great. Best it's ever been. I hope He and his staff stay forever. Foods great too, it just taste better with the AWESOME customer service.

Food is fine but don’t you dare ask for extra sauce etc or even them to give you your debit card back…twice now the same guy either doesn’t give the card back or you have to ask for them to give your card back (sketchy) and there is a lady there working evening shift around 6pm that’s rude as hell and clearly doesn’t enjoy her job at the drive thru.

My bf and I come here 3 to 4 times a week and we loved it here, until the food prep guy (not the cook)rolled his eyes at my bf because they forgot to give me guacamole. The manager seen himroll his eyes at him and didnt say anything. Twice before he had bad incounters but we ignored it. That is something we can not forgive, so we wont be comimg back here.
