It is my favorite and the beans are very good. The service is always amazing when I go. The homemade tortillas are the best I've tasted. There is so many options, one of the best is the chili relleno ! I definitely recommend going here . so yummy . yum yum yum
My wife ordered a medium shrimp cocktail and the cup only had about 4 shrimp and half way filled with water. It was disgusting, I will never go back to this place. They should shut this s*** muy place down. Jamás regresaría a este lugar asqueroso. Ojalá lo cierren inmediatamente.

First time here, my friend and I were really hungry and decided to give it a shot. The minute we walked in the resturant no one greeted us. We didn't know if we could just sit anywhere. Finally the lady making the pupusas or tortillas told us to have a seat anywhere. After we sat a waitress came over and handed us our menus and walked away. No hi no nothing. Finally another one came over asking if we wanted something to drink. Coffee for the both of us.. We went ahead and ordered as well. I'm a chilaquiles lover and that will be the first thing I will try. After 30 mins and waiting 15mins out of those 30 for a second cup of coffee we got our food. I'm sorry they were the worst and I LOVE chilaquiles. Chewy, tortilla was or looked uncooked sauce tasted like the can sauce for enchiladas that you buy at the store. I just couldn't eat anymore I was disappointed.

I grew up coming here and today was the last day I will ever come back. The sever was very rude and had attitude while taking our order. She snatched the menu right away after ordering. The food was tasteless and extremely not worth it.

El tenampa is a Mexican place with a very large menu. Lots of options; almost too many. The restaurant is not very large but feels homey. The service is good and the food is quick. The drinks are not free refills so be prepared. The prices are not expensive but you do get what you pay for. The queso whole good was a little greasy. I would highly recommend the taco plate. The tortillas are delicious and the meat is prepared well.
