The reviews were right—this “hole in the wall” beats some five-star restaurants I’ve been to! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, you have to come here.

The birria was amazing, and the carne asada quesadilla was kid-approved! I also tried the carne en su jugo—and trust me, I can tell a soft bean from an old bean. Their whole beans are fresh and delicious!

I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their chile relleno (I’ll update when I do!). I usually don’t leave reviews, but I want to help others the way others have helped me find good spots.

I’m sorry to do this but these were really the worst tacos I’ve ever had. Meat 3 days cooked dry like kibble bits. Beans from a can, boring rice. I really wanted it to be better but this was a strike out. Absolutely no idea how they got a 4.6 rating.

it doesn’t look like much but the food was amazing. if you’re looking for off strip food come here. no frills, elite mexican

Im a student at ATI, ever since I found this out about this place. This place has the best foods here🙏. It’s a small place BUT the foods are so good & big❤️🙏. I’ve been a student since March & I come here with a couple of my classmates. We love El Zarape 🙏. 10/10000!

Superb! Staff was warm, gracious, and made our experience wonderful. The food was outstanding on its own, but the service really took it up to a whole other level. It’s stays busy here from what we saw. I enjoyed the old school / romantic Mexican music as well. I will come back every single time I am in the area to eat Mexican food.

Like the place

Maria always gives great customer service. Always has a smile and is very efficient in what is ordered. The food is amazing and the old school Mexican music always feels like home. Recommend 10/10 spot!

Came to this spot early in the morning. Maria was filled with energy and greeted us with a huge smile. The food as amazing as well as the salsa which was spicy! 🔥 10/10 would recommend!!!
