Best thing from here was the dip. Way too small but nice atmosphere. Service was ok. Too much fat in the taquitos. Prices are ok, but it’s not a lot of food for the price more like appetizer sizes.

Emilio’s has truly authentic Mexican food! I’m always amazed by the quality and the unique ways they prepare traditional dishes — every bite is full of flavor. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the staff. Rowena is a total pro behind the bar — fast, friendly, and she knows every cocktail by heart. Leilani, Riley, and Lea are just as wonderful! They always make me feel like family and even take the time to make my favorite cocktails “skinny.” It’s such a joy to visit every time.

My favorite dishes are the Mini Chicken Tostadas, Ceviche Dos Mundos (it’s giant and delicious), and the Aztec Grain Bowl — I like to add their shredded chicken tinga to it. Their classic quesadillas with shredded chicken tinga are big enough for two people, and the Carne Con Papas is fantastic. Although those are the only things I’ve tried so far, every one has been amazing!

My only small complaint is that I think Emilio’s would be even busier during happy hour if they advertised it on their website. They also have a great Taco Tuesday, which isn’t listed online either. I’ve mentioned it to management but haven’t seen it updated yet. I’m a local and would love to see them continue to grow and stay successful — it’s one of my favorite places to go!

What a wonderful restaurant!
We came here unplanned visiting family nearby and it was a nice surprise to find this place.
The food was so delicious (El vequero and chicken tostadas)! So delicious!
Cocktails are very well mixed 🤌 (Ally was out mixologist and she did very well)
We didn’t get to try their deserts because of short time but I’m sure they make them as good as their food and drinks 😋

While using an app to find gluten free food we stumbled upon Emilio's and the great reviews. When I read that I could eat GF churros I knew we had to visit. This restaurant exceeded every expectation! The attention to detail within the restaurant and menu was incredible. The food was amazing, but the owner and staff were even better. The care they gave including sharing other restaurants to visit that had GF options was incredible as we were visiting from out of state. We visited 3 restaurants owned by the same group and each was better than the last! Highly recommend Emilio's for an AMAZING Mexican food experience!

Amazing Mexican food!
I am very picky when it comes to Mexican because I am super Mexican and wow, this place made me feel like my mom was serving dinner. I ordered the enchiladas. Definitely recommend it!

Emilio's is fantastic. The decor, the food and service were all excellent. Maya and Alex, the service staff, were incredibly sweet and helpful. I'm thrilled this place is in Mountains Edge.

We came to Emilio's on a recommendation from a friend. I immediately noticed how classy & serene the atmosphere is. We had brunch. We tried the Carne Asada tacos & the El Vacuero Breakfast Plato. Both were excellent. The customer service & friendliness from their staff made our first time experience enjoyable. We'll be back soon to try other menu items.

We were a party of four dining with family. The service was quite slow — we ended up being there for four hours, and my father-in-law became frustrated and had to raise his voice and use profanities just to get the check so we can just get out of there.

I’d suggest they stick to operating cafés serving dine in orders with paper cups and doughnuts shops.

I love this place! Our waiter Leilanie set the vibes as she guided us through the menu. I had the Alebreje cocktail and subbed the grey goose for gun!!! AMAZING! My partner and I shared the family plate… plenty for us plus lots to take home for leftovers! Food was flavorful… And very authentic tasting! Next time we are in town we will be back!!!
