Emmitt's Vegas

An absolute gem of a restaurant!

First, the service is amazing. Our waitress Bernadette was a darling, made sure our large party was taken care of, and made excellent recommendations for our group. And when our EA asked if they could bring out a small dessert for our boss, since it was National Boss Appreciation day, she quickly and discreetly agreed, then brought out an amazing little caramel cake and vanilla ice cream! Also, the general manager was an absolutely amazing guy too! He noticed that we were fans of Emmitt Smith's, and immediately told us to come check out all of the amazing memorabilia they had around the restaurant! We took photos with his uniform and his trophy from his Season 3 win of dancing with the stars!! It was truly an amazing night and we couldn't stop talking about how there was something for everyone at the table for the rest of the evening.

Secondly, the FOOD and DRINKS. I wouldn't have given this a 5-star review if the food was just okay. The appetizers were phenomenal. We got the fried cauliflower, the steak tartare, and the shrimp. Surprisingly, our favorite was the cauliflower, but we were fans of everything that was brought out! I also split three of the entrees with two other people: the salmon, the NY strip, and the scallops. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Cooked. To. Perfection. I really loved how crispy the salmon skin was, the steak was a perfect medium, and the scallops were also seared nicely. The table shared sides of patatas bravas, mushrooms, and mac and cheese! The mac and cheese was SO GOOD! We were almost fighting for the last spoonful because it just blew us all away. I also loved the patatas bravas -- not too spicy, and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and so fluffy and soft within! The mushrooms were also good, as it gave a nice umami bite after all the other savory things. For drinks, I got an espresso martini. This was my first one, and I got The Passport. Emmitt's has a little espresso martini menu, so I was excited to try it! It was perfectly smooth and definitely strong! A lovely wake up for a warm Vegas evening.

Finally, just the general atmosphere of the restaurant was just a really really nice break from everything else that felt overly loud and Vegas. It was clean, the decor was tasteful, and it was fairly quiet (since it was a Wednesday night). I will happily come back here, as it was overall a really lovely experience!

They ran out of one of the steaks on their menu. Not an exotic choice. A basic hangar steak.

Horrible service. Seated in a bar that had 3 other tables always seated and no one stopped to take a drink order or even acknowledge our presence. Left after the waiter walked by by 4 times without speaking.

This place is absolutely amazing!! VJ was great. The service is top notch, the food was the best!! I would recommend this place 100%! Thanks for making it such a good experience. My daughter was getting married and it was her future mother in law’s birthday. They made is special for us!! Thank you!!

Beautiful restaurant and top notch staff. The food was really good. Drinks were excellent. Definitely will visit again. The group private rooms are really nice.

Everything was wonderful. The wait staff was very pleasant. The drinks were perfect, not too strong, nor watered down. The creole shrimp appetizer was great. We ordered the sushi, miso sea bass, and the lobster tempura. All were top-notch. The butter cake is all they claim! There will be a return visit.

Incredible food, great service! I've been twice. Once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times I was impressed. The food was hot and fresh and the service was impeccable! Definitely a hidden gem! We had filet, the classic breakfast, Belgian waffles, shrimp creole and the butter cake. They were all delicious!

Atmosphere is very nice. Appetizers and desserts were delicious. The steaks that were ordered were cooked to perfection. However, the other items weren't so great. Our waiter VJ was outstanding. Drinks from the bar were also delicious! Overall had a good time!

First time customer. Never again. Food quality wasn't good. Meat was over cooked. Service was spotty. Music was horribly loud. Pricing wasn't worth it. I won't be back or recommend it to anyone.
