If you’re in Las Vegas and you’re craving steak, let me introduce you to Envy Steakhouse at the Renaissance Hotel—where your taste buds go to party and your diet plans go to die. I mean, it’s called “Envy” for a reason, because by the end of the meal, you’ll be green with envy for everyone who’s been eating here all along. First, let’s talk about the service. These folks don’t just bring you your meal, they practically read your mind.Thirsty? Your drink is magically refilled. Ready to order? They appear out of nowhere with a smile like some kind of service ninja. They’re so on top of things that I wouldn’t be surprised if they know what kind of steak you’re going to order before you even do.
Now, the steak. Oh, the steak. Envy isn’t just a name, it’s a promise. The steak selection here is the stuff dreams are made of. Ribeye? Check. Filet mignon? Absolutely. Tomahawk steak the size of a small car? You bet. Each cut is cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of char on the outside and juicy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness on the inside. You don’t even need a knife—it’s that tender. It’s the kind of steak that makes you want to stand up and give the chef a round of applause.

My son's 18th birthday! He wanted a steakhouse and this was perfect for the price and taste. Great service and great food

Closed the restaurant for training and did not give any notice to me, so i happily showed on time with Clients to my reservation I maid a month ago only to be embarrassed and scrambled to find another restaurant all during Mine Expo. Send a cancellation notice in the future Please.

Made 2 lunchtime reservations at Grill 55 during week of MinExpo. On first lunch, I called the hotel to speak to the restaurant to advise that we were running about 15 to 20 minutes late. The hotel told me that the restaurant was closed for renovations and that a section of the restaurant was only open after 5pm. And yet I had been able to make reservations in the lunch hour. Maybe the hotel personnel and their restaurant personnel have a communication issue. I didn't even bother with the second lunchtime reservation. Very disappointing.

The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. They were very busy and gave us a lot of attention. I would eat here again.

Got scammed on Macallans 18. Was charged $100 more per drink than other steakhouses in the area.

The ribeye steak’s quality of the steak was poor considering the price. I'd recommend Strip House Steakhouse instead, you’ll get fantastic steak for the same price

I recently went back to this steakhouse for dinner a few days ago. I was disappointed by the place. First, on entering, it smelled like an 80 year old woman with far too much perfume had just been there. When I asked about it, the person told me it was a candle they were required to burn. I thought that was odd - but OK. When we were seated, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant - not a good sign given it was 6:45 on a Friday! I looked over the menu as best I could - but needed to use the light on my phone. It was very dark in there. We ordered 2 steaks and waited - a long time. Two more groups came into the restaurant over the 45-minute wait time. At one point, we decided to get a Caesar salad - which the waiter brought promptly. Service was outstanding overall. The salad though was not outstanding. The dressing tasted as though it was an Italian dressing - maybe a "Caesar" dressing from a bottle they bought as Walmart. OK, salad down - the meat arrives. We had also ordered some veggies with the meat. The Brussels sprouts were good - though not sure why they had maple syrup on them. Five pieces of asparagus that were also good - no maple syrup. Five pieces for 12 bucks does seem excessive. The meat was cooked to order and it was good quality meat - though grossly under spiced. To add to this, there is no salt or pepper on the table (I didn't ask for any and no table had any). But they did bring a small amount of sauce for each steak. The sauces were a lot like the steaks - not very flavorful, and what flavor they did have was not especially good. Overall, this was about what I would expect from the old Sizzler steakhouses from years ago. Definitely better than Denny's, but only barely.I would completely skip this place. Years ago - it was great. Now there are far better options for half the price - and without the entire place smelling like a group of 80 year old women with far too much perfume were sitting at the next table. If you want meat, Fogo de Chao is less than a mile away and has vastly superior meats for about 1/2 the price.

First time trying this place on our Las Vegas trip for my birthday. Service was wonderful, food was excellent, albeit more $$$$ than $$$. Dessert was comped for my birthday.

Took 20 minutes to get a waiter (they were not at full capacity ) 90 minutes to get food... which was poorly cooked, wrong orders and even uncooked vegetables. No idea how this place had good reviews, but never again.

Service was amazing! The two gentleman that were there had extensive knowledge of the menu and made us feel welcomed and acknowledged. Continued to check on not only our table but every table perfectly. The food was good, the mashed potatoes needed seasoning, the pork chop was excellent and the steak was perfect. The mushrooms were good and the Brussels were cooked perfectly. With the pork chop I was searching for some spice to cut the sweetness of the maple glaze, and the dessert was fantastic! Loved the lemon on lemon play with the oats. Definitely A1. All in all I'd come back again for dinner.

The best thing they're was the lobster bisque and all the sides. We also had the scallop risotto and the ribeye and it was ok. Our waiters were fantastic! They need a raise! Thank you
