Well it seemed we were the first customers of the day due to the OPEN sign not being on. It gave a soulful ambiance with the music being played and decor. We were greeted promptly and seated. Service is good with explanation of the menu offers. I recommend the fried ribs they are seasoned well and still moist. The yams are like grandma and mama use to make. The food is really good not to over seasoned which is a plus.

Me an my husband had a quick dinner while in Vegas for ny birthday. The whole staff was super accommodating and attentive. My catfish was delicious. Make sure you get the lemon pepper hot catfish. This was like going to my uncles house and him fixing me a plate! Highly recommended. Support small businesses

The grilled fish wasn’t cooked it was raw sent it back and was STILL charged for it ! Was only given a sorry , no offer toHave something else . Oxtails on the specials dry erase board and out of oxtails . It was just ridiculous and a waste of time and money !!!

This place was so fun for a solo lunch date! The young man at the counter was so helpful and kind. I’ve been here a couple times and I’ve been telling all my friends about it too. Please go see them, support your community shops!

So much potential I see with this resturant the young man was really nice (didn't get his name) but I ordered over the phone very polite I ordered the chicken dinner with dressing, Mac n cheese and some greens ...the chicken was seasoned very well and the crisp in the skin was fantastic 5/10, but the inside of my chicken was dry in my leg and not thoroughly cooked in my thigh, the Mac n cheese I can tell had flavor but it was SOOO dry 4/10 (could have been a bad for them) the dressing was ok it was a 5/10 had a weird after taste the greens was very good 7/10 .....definitely will give them another shot just because I can tell the flavors was there but again may have been a bad day

Just finished the catfish dinner with greens and yams...off da chain (just so y'all know I can fly some fish myself but I only fry it for my family and at Virginia State University tailgate ?? my HBCU).. I plan on going back tomorrow and Saturday...and next year when I come back to Vegas?
