This was my first time dining here and it certainly won’t be my last. To start, the atmosphere is very relaxed, the employees were all helpful and the food for me was tasty, portioned perfectly and reminded me of the many Filipino restaurants back home in Hawaii, where I’m from. I ordered their 2 choice combo and ended up getting more items because their food looked and smelled wonderful. Their combo comes with 2 scoops of rice, plus any two items on their buffet. I got their mongo beans, pinakbet, pork adobo and the gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to have me try their sinigang. Everything was amazing. I loved how they had Japanese pumpkin in their pinakbet, that their pork adobo was so tender and flavorful and their mongo beans that reminded me of my childhood, was the highlight of the meal. This is a place I decided to try without any prior knowledge, research or suggestions and I’m so glad I found them. Can’t wait to go back!

It was ok, but just ok. I think for the price you can get better value at other places. I put the quality lower than Panda Express (just as a reference of cafeteria style food, not as a direct comparison as that's not Filipino food), but you end up paying more somehow.

For instance, the bistek tagalog had a good taste, but was very very watery, and you got very few onions in the serving.

Other dishes had gummy meat like it had been sitting out way too long maybe?

The chicken bbq was decent, a lot of meat and the sauce was good.

The worst was the sisig. My wife asked for a small portion and she was assured it was a "side order". It took 20 minutes to make, was an entire styrofoam container full, was $25, and tasted like it was cooked eariler in the day somehow. I'm not sure how they spent 20 minutes making it but it still was not fresh. It wasn't even crispy, like they forgot to fry it? I don't understand. We had a few bites, took it home and fried it ourselves. It was good then, but I'm not going to pay $25 for food I have to go fry again at home, seriously.

Ordered through Uber eats.. They gave me rice that is bad! Panis ung kanin!!! smelly and watery rice!!! Called the store and said Manager is off. disgusting! You should not sell panis n kanen!Manager called me and apologized. I appreciate him calling and addressing what happened. Thank you.

Ordered a $15 combo meal. I choose their pork sinigang. They use the smallest cup and put two (2) small meat in it. I mean really!?! Heck even the small carinderia in the philippines have more than 2 meats when ordering sinigang.

I ordered crispy pata for pick up... had some issue and needed to move the pick up time and manager told me that they were already so busy that day for me to keep changing the time.. like it was just the second time i called and he was yelling at me like i owe him something.. so rude. very disappointed
