The worst sandwich ever this is not a lie, if their was even any turkey inside the sandwich I was looking for the turkey, the gravy was the best $15 dollars later ....medium size sandwich not a combo, 1st time at firehouse subs and I promise you it will be my last. Totally rip off.

That is not called a sandwich......you should appreciate customer coming in to purchase from you and actually give up what we are paying for. I could have went to subway and sprouts makes great sandwiches. But no I wanted a turkey stuffing sandwich even better you had gravy.

No one smiles that works there I wonder why?

We love the food and when they have their gluten free bun available it is even more helpful. I felt bad that the staff was so sad this day. There was a weird vibe happening in the store.

I recently visited Firehouse Subs at around 12:45 PM to order a medium sandwich. Before paying, I showed my military ID and politely asked for a discount, as I had heard that Firehouse Subs supports service members. To my surprise, I was denied, so I decided to leave the establishment.

After leaving, I looked up Firehouse Subs’ policy and saw that the company supposedly offers a 10% military discount. This prompted me to call the store I had just visited to get clarity. When I asked about their discount policy, the employee on the phone confirmed that they do not honor military discounts. I was then told that firefighters and police officers do receive discounts. I asked why this discount was not extended to military members, and the employee explained that it was a decision made by the manager.

This felt not only disappointing but disheartening. I served this country for 12 honorable years, committed to the same principles of service that should unite us. To hear that my service and sacrifices apparently “don’t qualify” for a discount feels like a slap in the face. This feels like a form of discrimination and possibly anti-American sentiment, particularly disheartening given the current social climate and the respect we should be fostering for those who serve.

Firehouse Subs, if you claim to honor first responders, service members should be included. I hope this store reconsiders their stance and begins showing the respect military members deserve.

Portions are abysmal. Paid $20 for a large steamer and the meat didn’t even cover the entirety of the bread. Definitely a 3:1 bread to meat ratio. Should’ve gone to the grocery store and made two of my own for the same price.

Staff was pleasant and friendly though.

Came in with my elderly mother during an off-time to have a small snack. We ordered a small sandwich meal and a kids meal but were denied the kids meal because no child was present. That should be irrelevant. If I can place a “to go” order without needing to bring a child with me then it shouldn’t matter if I place an order at the register for the same meal.
The guy working the register mumbled the entire process, wouldn’t allow me to speak to anyone above him, and didn’t include the additional drink we ordered so I had to go back for that.
I will not return to this location. There are much better fire house subs locations in town.

Idk what it is about this side of town but this whole shopping center isn’t worth coming to unless you’re grabbing something from wal mart. I come in and order a meat ball sub and this kid looks like he’s on the verge of quitting. I ordered at 3:06pm and it was taking a while to get food out since they were more concerned with pick up orders. 3:25 hits and I stand up to see what’s going on and my order comes out minutes after that COLD! I seriously just wanted out of this place and left. I’m never coming back to this location ever again, it’s probably family owned but it straight up sucks. This place is ran horribly just like all the other surrounding food places in this shopping mall. Farmer boys, Carl’s Jr, port of subs, China dragon, and now this place. Gotta drive a little further for my lunch break. It’s like this shopping mall had a job fair and all picked the same kind of bottom of the barrel workers. I hate coming on here to leave bad reviews but damn, if I can help save others time and money so they don’t have it endure this I will. A medium sandwich combo is $18.00!! And it’s horrible, just don’t come here.

FirehousebSubs is in a league of their own. There just isn't a competitor to them. When you've had a Friehouse sub, you KNOW when you want another. The other sandwich shops are just that... sandwich shop. And that's fine but when you want a Firehouse sub... there's NO putting that fire out with anything else! Also... kudos to McCarren Marketplace for continuing to Memorialize McCarren. I don't know why we memorialize a living current government service worker when that job hasn't been successfully completed and post-mordem. AMF

Food is good, but don't expect to get your carry out order at the time it says. Add at least 15mins to that. Not a place to quickly pick up your meal unless you plan on the extra time.
