We love the food and when they have their gluten free bun available it is even more helpful. I felt bad that the staff was so sad this day. There was a weird vibe happening in the store.

FirehousebSubs is in a league of their own. There just isn't a competitor to them. When you've had a Friehouse sub, you KNOW when you want another. The other sandwich shops are just that... sandwich shop. And that's fine but when you want a Firehouse sub... there's NO putting that fire out with anything else! Also... kudos to McCarren Marketplace for continuing to Memorialize McCarren. I don't know why we memorialize a living current government service...

Food is good, but don't expect to get your carry out order at the time it says. Add at least 15mins to that. Not a place to quickly pick up your meal unless you plan on the extra time.
