So much fun! Having the little lounge there to hang right after the show was so smart, and loved being able to chat with the performers! Drinks are not wildly expensive and they are STRONG. Had a great time!
10000000% times better than thunder down under. Recommend for any girls night, bachelorette parties or just a general girls night. You won't regret your experience ?
Way over priced and not made as well as they should for $18 cocktails and we couldn't even sit down to enjoy it.
Great drinks while we waited for our Chippendales photo!
Chippendales came out to sign shitts! Very cool lounge/bar.
Loved the environment and the people. The host are very friendly and security was tight.
Amazing came for my birthday on November 17 and it was so much fun got a lap dance I would go back again
Had s great time at the lounge
If you want no human interaction, this may be for you. If you want no service at all, this may be for you. I merely wanted a clean room with a bottle of champagne sent up to wind down with. The phone in the room says text this number for room service. I tried, but to no avail. I then called to get a human at the front desk (no one was there when I walked in mind you). Jessica answers and I ask how to order a bottle of champagne and perhaps a cheese tray. She said "there is no room service at the Rio". Nowhere else is that specified.
Went to the RIO for a show and got there early. Went to the cafe bar. Bartenders ignored us. Arguing over who would serve us. Place was dirty. One beer and one diet and crown, $27!!! Highway robbery! This place is a dump.

Parking is free, both self-park & valet. We stayed in the Masquerade tower, which is supposedly the newer tower, but everything is worn & dated. The tower itself is far from the main hotel entrance, the parking lots and the main part of the casino, so there is a lot of walking involved. If you are mobility challenged in any way, stay in the Ipanema Tower. The room, however, was clean. There were enough outlets around the room for charging electronics, but a noted lack of built in USB ports that most modern hotels have, so bring your charging blocks. The desk was small, barely big enough for a laptop and mouse pad, so if you have to work and use reference materials, it can be awkward. There were only two wastebaskets in the room, one by the vanity area, and one in the shower/toilet area. The tub/shower faucets were old & pitted and really did not look inviting, but at least it was clean and showed no signs of mold or mildew. Someone had the not too bright idea to put a window in the tub wall, that leads to the sleeping area. I suppose that was to make the area less claustrophobic, but it's a little creepy to know that another person in the room can watch you shower They don't have as many restaurants as other casino/hotels either, so you pretty much have to find off site places to eat. I, personally, didn't enjoy the food at any of the restaurants. Within walking distance is a Denny's, Chick-Fil-A & Del Taco. China Town is a walkable distance (depending on if you like to walk-about half a mile). Within that half mile to a mile driving distance is a good variety of local restaurants. As for the casino, I think this is where old slot machines go to die. There are a few of the more modern machines around, but not a big selection. There were enough table games and variety of same to be satisfactory. The Rio, being far off the strip, should have more going on to make a stay there worthwhile. Many years ago, they used to have a very big party atmosphere, but stopped that long ago. The place was pretty much dead on this trip for a variety of reasons. Some COVID-19 related. Most of the restaurants were closed or had very limited hours, and they had limited show offerings. None of this will matter very soon anyway, since they are rebranding some time in the near future and becoming a Hyatt property, which may or may not remain a casino. Since they are changing hands, they don't seem very interested in keeping things working properly or fixing anything that's not a quick fix.
First of all I have to say that I have stayed here several times in the past since its opening. I really loved staying here - lots of room at a great price. I haven't stayed here in like 6 years so when it was time for a visit we decided to stay here - BIG MISTAKE!!! you would think that because its run by the same people that run Caesars Palace the upkeep here would be the same - NO - you would have thought wrong!!! Just pulling up to the place I stated to get a bad feeling. For goodness sake people PAINT THE DARN BUILDING-IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP!!!! It Looks even worse from your room. PLEASE FIX YOUR ELEVATORS!! We were in the ipanema tower on the 9th floor. One elevator would not even go to the 9th floor from the lobby, you hit the button - no go. I was trying to get from the 9th to the lobby and the elevator never showed-down button was not working. Had to hit the up button take the ride if people were going up and then hit the lobby button to go back down!!! PAIN IN THE BUTT AND IF I'M PAYING MONEY FOR THINGS I DON"T EVEN USE (RESORT FEE), THAN THE THINGS I DO USE BETTER WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The room was ok, old tv, not very many chanel choices, sofa and chairs DESPERATELY need reupholstering. Put large towel it before sitting down. My advice, if you are paying a resort fee there are far better place to stay. Look for a newer hotel or somewhere they have stated "newly remodeled", until I see those words associated with this place I will not be staying here.
The 2021 WSOP tournament was held at the Rio. We stayed there because my partner was playing in one of the events of the tournament. The Rio offers little in the way of interest if you are thinking of staying there. The restaurants and food offerings are less than average in quality. The “shops”offer what you might consider “tourist” items. The casino is dark and uninviting. And the staff? Well, let’s say they lack interest in their jobs and it translates into lukewarm customer service. Suffice it to say that when my partner’s event ended we left the Rio and spent the remainder of our time in Las Vegas at Harrah’s. An experience that was the exact opposite of our time at the Rio.
Love getting to know the chips 1:1! So cool that they have this feature.
Five stars is just the tip of the iceberg! Amazing decor, great drinks and did I mention, THE CHIPPENDALES! Spending quality time with the guys after the show is simply the best!
