When making a reservation make sure to pay attention to whether it is for the lounge or restaurant. Restaurant is fairly stuffy, lounge is rarher nice. Atmosphere is much better as well. Enjoyed the happy hour here. Finally beware, our waitress highlighted the 20% auto gratuity. Even for parties of 2, then the total after auto grat bill. Basically extorting 40%+ tips.
This was our first visit to The Foundation Room. We were pleasantly surprised that happy hour in the lounge lasted until 9 p.m. Highly recommend a few cocktails there before dinner. The staff and service were great in both the lounge and restaurant. We were disappointed with some of the menu items, particularly the crab cake and scallops, for the price we paid. There was no lump crab in the crab cake. It was more like a pureed fish cake. The scallops were gritty and left an aftertaste....
Fancy-shmancy kind of place. Some of our people weren't allowed to come up because of the dress code. Love the view and the atmosphere. Sexy dancer girls everywhere, which I loved and hated. Very dark, mysterious, loud music, cool statues, decent drinks.
