Wow!!! Just wow!!! Never been to Fred's Tavern but I live literally down the street. Thought I would give it a try. Rude as hell over the phone trying to place an order for pick up. I was told they don't take orders over the phone because people never pick up. Well wake up call I WOULD HAVE!!!!!!!! So they assume everyone is a flake!!! First impressions are everything!!!! Never again do NOT go there!!!!!

Service: Horrible! STAY AWAY!1. When I first walked in I ordered a beet. The bar tender seemed to struggle pouring a tall Goose from the tap. After about 6 minutes she finally found got it.2. I then went to order food so I was told to go ring the bell. A woman from the kitchen shouts "I'll be right out." After standing there for 10 minutes waiting I sat down. After another 5-10 min I got back up to ring the bell, as I did this sweaty women who looked exhausted and over worked came out carrying some food. The bar wasn't anywhere near full so im not sure why she seemed so exhausted. She served a table she comes up to me asking what she can get me. As she's looking at me wiping the sweat from her face i became hesitant because that was just not sanitary. I then stumbled to ask for a burger and fries. She said they were all out of frozen patties. I then asked for a menu (not sure why I wasn't haven't one to begin with?) She then, looks irritated and hands me a grimy menu. As I'm looking through it she starts getting impatient and starts naming items off of the menu and was speaking too fast for me to even understand her. I finally settled on a Philly cheese steak. She brought it out and it was okay but mostly greasy and more mushrooms than meat. It wasn't very good really. I alsokept praying that she washes her hands after wiping her sweaty face...nasty.2. The atmosphere was your typical bar with one exception, extra smokey. I still can hardly breath, coughing, and just all around horrible.Never again ll I go here!

Driven past here a few times and decided to finally stop in and so glad I did. The overnight bartender (Jocelyn) was super cool and welcoming. I definitely found my new neighborhood bar.

I used to go there a lot to play keno 5spots and I didn't do to bad but I had to stop spending time an money I haven't been back in a yr or so but I may go try my luck again maybe no promises just a thought just to see if anything has changed an to possibly see some old friends if they still attend ???????????
The burger was unremarkable (it's a separate restaurant inside) but my drinks were potent, prices were great and the bartender CeCe was nice and attentive. Would stop by again.

This is a fun bar. My mom goes here all the time and is always satisfied they had a cake for her birthday they have karaoke and just so much fun things to do. Not only are the coworkers friendly but so are the people there it’s a great atmosphere and the food is hot and ready.
