I had the pleasure of picking up my husband's birthday cake from the beautiful Freeds downtown bakery. It's such a beautifully designed building in the best location in the arts district.

We came to this cute bakery downtown for a few slices of cake for my partner's birthday. We ordered a lemon breeze slice ($6.65), black forest slice ($6.95) and red velvet cupcake ($3.65).
We were pretty disappointed in all the items as they didn't taste homemade but rather like box cake. The lemon slice tasted like a plain vanilla cake with coloring, with a brief hint of lemon & no coconut. The black forest was just a normal chocolate cake missing the rum that makes it black forest. The fillings tasted like they came from a jar & was just a miss across the board.
While the sole employee was nice, I would not recommend this bakery.

Thank you to the friendly helpful staff for going the extra mile on a day of hardship for my husband and I celebrating in memorial a birthday. I was to grief stricken to go eat in person, but they packaged our three beautiful treats up perfectly like a present. Then I realized we'd forgotten a candle for her, i felt so forgetful and frustrated. Before deciding to leave we asked to purchase candles if they per chance had any for purchase for parties. Two sweet young ladies just gave us our candle. This is a sweet spot through and through. The desserts are gorgeous, I've yet to eat mine as we're not quite at our ritual, but the scents are heavenly. The sight, decadent.

Every year we decided this is our spot for her special day, because the service and gorgeous eye to detail are unparalleled. Price point is so fair, highly reasonable for each item offered. Go comfort your heart and hit that sweet tooth with a beautiful dessert.

Went to this cookie place for a small dessert after dinner. Evelyn was incredibly nice and the cookies tasted delicious and were very light. I got the Reese’s pieces one and my wife got the Nonpareil butter cookie. Will go to this location again when we’re back in town.

The cookies here are absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and always a treat! However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I was there again today, and just like on my previous visits, I encountered the same unfriendly and unprofessional behavior from the young ladies working there. It’s as if customers are an inconvenience, which is really disappointing because the cookies are so good. I keep coming back for the cookies, but the cold, unwelcoming service makes each visit less enjoyable. I really hope the owner addresses this and provides the staff with some customer service training because these amazing cookies deserve a friendlier environment.

Freed's is where you need to go in Vegas if you are looking for Wedding Cakes. Very responsibly priced and they will even deliver to your hotel/venue. The quality of cake was also very good and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much for the memorable day!

We ordered our wedding cake from the UK for our Vegas wedding with Kennedy at Freed’s. The cake was absolutely GORGEOUS (both to taste and look at) and staff were so lovely when we went to collect. Thank you all at Freed’s!
This bakery is in the downtown art district and like all the Freed’s Bakeries in the valley are excellent in taste, but at a premium cost. Just look at the photos of what they sell and instantly your mouth waters for some of their sweet treats. However, I just wish their prices weren’t so high and they are not getting any cheaper. This bakery is very small with nowhere to sit down inside, but they do have two tables with chairs out in front, but with no sunshade of any type. The biggest problem we have with this bakery is the location, since there is nothing but metered parking in the area and it can be very difficult at times to find a parking space. That is a major drawback if all you wanted to do was stop for a moment to pick up some delicious treats for the family. Will we continue to shop at Freed’s Bakery? Absolutely, their desserts are too wonderful to ignore even if they come at a price.

Soft and mildly sweet. These cakes are great for those not big on sweets but still like to eat cake. First time walking in with my daughter we were welcomed in by the assortment of cakes, cupcakes and of course the kind employees. The icing on the cakes seem to be more of a whipped icing and every bite was soft and cloud like.
