I never mind paying some money on food if it’s good. But this definitely not worth the money. Our food could have used a little more flavor.

An average Italian eatery at a casino. Standard fare with a very limited menu and even less imagination.

We were watching the Gino Vanelli performance at Rio last Saturday and the group of 4 ate there.

Perfectly acceptable restaurant and food if you are staying at Rio Resort or visiting to watch a show. But no one in their right mind would pick this as a destination restaurant to plan a dinner - business or casual or romantic. Personally I would not even cross the street to eat there.

Overall, it was elevated Olive Garden. We ordered the 3 Course and none of it was anywhere close to being worth $60 per person for food. The Bolognese was room temperature at best and the Alfredo was like water. This might be expected at 10pm, but this was at 6pm. Spend your time and money at Edge Steakhouse literally next door because that was top 5 best meals I've experienced across the globe.

Dinner before a show, waitress tried to rush us, had to slow her down. Food was acceptable, menu good, atmosphere acceptable. Service was timely. Reservations strongly recommended, there were many people trying to get a table who did not have reservations. Fresco's need to have a better system of making reservations in person for those staying at the resort.

We chose to enjoy our anniversary dinner/last evening @ Fresco in Westgate Resort. We made a reservation 3 hours prior & were seated on arrival! We started w/ the bruschetta board, along w/ the complimentary bread & olive oil. My wife & I shared the fettuccini alfredo w/ a side of broccolini! My in laws ordered spaghetti w/ a meatball & the lasagna. They of course had leftovers but everything was delicious! My wife & I were looking forward to the affogato described on the WG Fresco menu for a dessert but unfortunately their espresso machine was down.. however since we did let them know we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary we were surprised w/ a piece of the ricotta cheesecake with orange pieces & an edible Happy Anniversary mini sign made of dark chocolate set on it.. that little gesture was just the cherry on top to a simply delightful anniversary dinner/last night in Vegas! Service was impeccable as well!

The atmosphere was great and our server , Edith, was very good. She was very personable and attentive to us. But, our main dish , Lasagna was cold, very bland and tasteless On a good note, the truffle bread and the Caesar salad I had was very good . Also on a negative note, no coffee was available. How do you not have a plan to get coffee to your customers Would not recommend coming back

We were celebrating my mother's 70th birthday and we're very happy , to have the waiter bring her a surprise Happy Birthday disk in chocolate in her Gelato . Thank you for a fun experience and delicious food.

First time, won't be returning. Ambiance was nice, hostesses were friendly and welcoming. Our server was, unfortunately not very helpful with the menu when asked a few questions. The food took a rather long time to arrive, and we were told the kitchen was very “behind”. Our reservation was for 5:00pm. Service from that point on was non existent until we asked for the check and left. The food was bland. Therefore , taking all of the above into consideration, I would not be able to recommend.

I like the Prix Fixe menu. Service was efficient and informative. I had a convenient ride on the monorail to the Westgate. I didn't have to deal with the expense of parking. I went to the Westgate to see Barry Manilow. All the pieces fell into place for a great evening.

Server was abrasive and very short with us from the start. They made our food incorrectly and only offered a scoop of ice cream to our kiddo (that he didn't want or like) as an apology. When the correct order arrived, it wasn't very good quality. Fettuccine Alfredo isn't a difficult dish but their's was terrible. The calamari was very rubbery as well and they don't offer any kid's options. We weren't impressed with any of the dining options at the Westgate and won't be back.

I have high expectations for fine dining here in Vegas after all I live here. They got off on the wrong foot right from the beginning, we had a reservation at 6pm we got called and seated but we were seated in the outfront bar area not in the main restaurant area. We ordered and I choose lasagna and my wife choose the 3 course tasting menu so my wife had Ceasars salad, chicken parmesan and desert, now she wanted to wait on desert but was told the whole order had to go in at once, weird. We would have ordered a beverage but the waiter never asked us once he took the order. Lasagna was quite good just a little bland on the flavor. Pasta on the parm was dry. We finished up and the dishes sat in front of us until we left never clearing anything before desert was served. So desert we waited on after we asked for it good 15 minutes we had the cheese cake it was dry not smooth and pretty sure it was cut out of a frozen cake. We paid 96 for this meal and that was with no extra sides or beverages, overall this dining experience did not meet expecting, sorry.

I was craving Italian and this placed delivered. Their slogan is "99% Italian .. 100% would be Italy" (or something like that), and it's definitely true.

Lasagna piece came baked fresh in its own mini cast-iron skillet; packed with meat, sauce, cheese, and homemade noodles.
Per Husband: The only negative was the cheese had a hint of "Magnum marker" smell, but it didn't taste weird or anything - so maybe just the type of cheese used??

I had Fettuccine Alfredo, plain. The sauce was delicious! Perfect blend of spices and garlic. Of course the noodles were homemade!

The bruschetta was very different. I was expecting all the things on top of toasted bread; it came with everything like a charcuterie board: halved tomatoes with basil leave and vinaigrette drizzle, cheese, strawberry jam-ish. I know it sounds like a very crazy combo, but I tried everything spread on a piece of the bread and it was almost Heaven!

Table bread was super soft on the inside and lightly crunchy on the outside but was fresh out the oven. The oil and pesto dip could have used a little more garlic and pesto, but that's just my opinion. It was DELICIOUS still!

My only negative: the water is definitely not filtered. But I put some lemon drops in my cup and it was manageable.

Short story: GO EAT HERE!

My husband and I were at the Westgate for a Blues festival. We enjoyed other eateries around but Fresco Italiano is as by far our favorite. I had the spaghetti pomodoro and my husband had the Calabrese pizza. Both were delicious, beautifully presented and our waiter was friendly, responsive, and professional. The homemade pasta is a cut above. The pizza crust was crispy on the outside, a little soft on the inside. Just perfect. In addition to that, they had a very nice wine list. We will definitely eat there again when we are back at the Westgate.
