We saw the sign for this place as we were headed somewhere else for breakfast, and decided to hit it on the way back. My wife's mom was German, so she was excited to see what they had. It was a small store, but it was a gem! We bought four different pastries (an Apple strudel, a Black Forest cake, a chocolate cake, and an almond pastry (shaped like a horseshoe). They were all amazingly delightful! Don't let the modest front of the store, or the simple look of the interior deter you from some authentic German pastries. We showed up on Easter Sunday and were so happy to see it was open. The young woman helping us was very polite and helped us efficiently. The bread, by the way, looked fantastic as well. We were on a motorcycle (passing through on a camping trip), so we did not have the room to try more. We will be back, however, next time we are passing through!.

They have large delicious pastries. We Love how they are not that sweet, tasty, and price value. Both cakes and bread were delicious and a good selection to choose from. We highly recommend it. We def will return.

Found the bakery by accident and all I have to say it is awesome! Me as a German who came to the US 11 years ago I have to say it taste like Germany ! The pretzel sticks and rolls plus the bread are great and the Cheesecake ( Käsekuchen) tasted like my mom made it at home! So when I'm a little homesick ....... I'll drive 4 hours just to get some goodies

I have come here for years. Every time we are in Las Vegas we stop by and stock up. We have 3 kids so we buy more then just one roll at a time. Today I asked for all of the 6 seed and all of the 3 seed rolls. It was 10 and 6 rolls. (We were also going to buy some breads and had already mentally picked out some goodies as well.) The lady at the counter told us: "You should really order the day before if you are going to buy that much. Now I won't have anything for the other customers that come in. " And in a not so nice tone either. Seriously? I was so shocked I just smiled and told her no problem we will not get anything, so you have plenty for everyone else that comes in today. They are by far the best bakery we have found but we won't be coming back and recommending to our friends that drive to Vegas.

Just stopped in because we were eating at a nearby restaurant, they didn't have much product left but they were closing very soon so that was understandable, what they did have looked amazing and they have many products imported from Germany. We purchased the larger pretzel and it was amazing!! The crust was perfect and yet still soft inside. I will be going back to try some of their other breads.

Really excellent flavor in all of the breads and rolls here. Wonderful dark rye, best I've had in months if not a year! I wish the breads had more of a crust (this is the only reason for 4* instead of 5*), but the flavor really is exceptional. They also keep pretty well for a while, so they're good for taking into the desert.

My German wife and I accidentally found German Bakery while visiting Las Vegas from Connecticut. We were relieved when we heard the two women behind the counter speaking German! And sure enough, we were transported back to our favorite bakery in Deutschland after eating there. Do yourself a favor and stop by for real authentic fresh German pastries and breads. You’ll thank me later.
