After a five-month wait for our reservation, the Golden Steer Steakhouse absolutely delivered on every level. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a special evening—classic Vegas charm with an old-school, elegant vibe that felt both timeless and inviting. We were a party of six, and every single person at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The food was exceptional—rich flavors, perfectly cooked steaks, and high-quality ingredients across the board. The table-side preparations, including the Caesar salad and Bananas Foster, were a standout experience. Watching the servers prepare these dishes right in front of us added a layer of showmanship that made the evening feel even more memorable. Service was top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. The bartenders also deserve a mention—they crafted great cocktails and made us feel genuinely welcome at the bar while we waited to be seated. Golden Steer is more than just a dinner—it's an experience, and in our case, it was well worth the long wait. If you're looking for a classic steakhouse with character, exceptional food, and top-tier service, this is it.

Waited an entire year for a reservation to open out. The expectations were higher because of a long wait to get in. Had a drink at the bar before dinner, waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, drinks were ok but a long wait to be helped. Steak tartare excellent!!! Filet mignon for my wife and me were excellent cook to perfection and full of flavor Table side Caesar salad was to wet and below expectation Banana fosters is missing flavor and presentation, is not fair to compare to other places but nothing like the old Brown Derby steak house. Maybe purchase nicer table side carts 😉

Get the famous Caesar salad and petite filet mignon. Best salad and steak I've ever put in my mouth. They do a whole mixing salad presentation at your table as well. The staff were so kind and actively checking on us and topping off our drinks. Carlos was fantastic!

First time experience visiting Vegas. James was an absolute pleasure. He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and how to treat guests with respect and world class hospitality! Our meal was worth every penny spent. Make your reservations!

I have waited a very long time to eat here, got lucky with reservations as a local. It is not over crowded and the ambiance is great. First the good: The wait staff and hosts were awesome they were very polite and super friendly. The oysters were delicious, the calamari was great! The sides, Mac and cheese and twice baked and Brussels sprouts delicious. The deserts were incredible, we ordered two banana deserts and the cheesecake. the cheesecake never came, server mistake no big deal he apologized and gave me one to take home, it was delicious! The bad: the steaks....they messed up all Three rib eyes. We got two medium rare and one medium. The medium was rare, the medium rare was well done. For a 100 dollar steak for a steak to be wrong, not good. Only ate half my steak, no one asked how the steaks were, just asked if we can box it up. We got toppings ok the steaks so we could not swap steaks. I measure a steak house by the steak...for 100 bucks, have to get that right. It's a great experience if you can get in, but i will be a 1 and done.

Outstanding. So glad we finally got to plan ahead and get a reservation (4 months early). Service was amazing and food is what you'd expect from everything you've heard. Must do the Cherries Jubilee and the tableside Caesar Salad (when in Rome...). So good!

Food was absolutely amazing. Service was impeccable. This was our first time visit and was the best meal we have had in Vegas!
