We were sat nestled in a cozy courtyard, Gonzalez Y Gonzalez instantly offered a charming atmosphere for a dining experience. The chairs were comfortable, and the table settings were impeccably clean, contributing to a welcoming vibe right from the start. The hostess greeted us with a warm smile, setting a friendly tone as we were ushered to our seats.Initially, the service was prompt and attentive. Our server was friendly and offered suggestions. However, as the evening progressed, the service quality noticeably declined. After our meal, our server disappeared for an extended period, forcing us to request our check from the hostess. Observing similar delays at nearby tables, it became apparent that while the staff were cordial, there might be issues with service consistency. The manager eventually brought our check, but the overall experience left us feeling neglected. The cuisine at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez was the highlight of our visit. Most of the dishes were flavorful and well-presented, showcasing traditional Mexican flavors with a flair. Unfortunately, the sangria did not meet the same standard; it tasted more like a pre-mixed concoction with minimal fruit garnish which didn't enhance the drink. The chips that were offered were completely crushed to bits and not worth finishing. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of the food served. However, considering the service issues we experienced, it did affect the overall value perception of our dining experience. While the food was delicious and the setting was ideal, the inconsistent service significantly marred our evening. Good service is crucial to a positive restaurant experience, and unfortunately, Gonzalez Y Gonzalez struggled to provide that. With many other Mexican cuisine options available in the area, I find it unlikely that I would choose to return here in the future.Gonzalez Y Gonzalez offers a lovely ambiance and tasty dishes but needs to improve its service to match the quality of its menu. For those who prioritize culinary excellence over service, it might still be worth a visit; however, for a complete dining experience, there are other venues that might better meet expectations.

We had our dinner here for a day . I love Italian food and we decide to give it a try . The food was good , although i had way better Italian food at Nigra falls in Canada . So the food served did not satisfied the taste to me to that extent, but the food can be given a try if u r an Italian food lover. . Over all 3.5 justifies the cost and the flavours .

My family visited Gonzalez Y Gonzalez on March 6, 2024. I ordered the steak fajitas and my family ordered other food. The food was delicious. The waiter took some time to wait on us so that is why I gave it a 4.

Don’t walk past this place without giving it a try. Service was great. Food was hot and fast. Nachos the best I ever had. I would bet there was a chicken breast and an half in the nachos alone. Ingredients were so fresh and the street taco recommendations were spot on. Prices are perfect. Glad we made the stop. Would recommend to anyone

The sad pile of cold greasy cheese on some nachos is not worth a 1/2 hour

Unexpectedly poor dinner experience tonight at Gonzalez y Gonzalez. Appetizers arrived slowly. When we asked a manager if he could chase the food up, the answer he gave might as well have been “sit down, shut up and we will get to you soon”. He should perhaps apply for a position at Dick’s Last Resort, I’m sure he’d find a home there. Finally, two of the six dishes brought were wrong and we had to wait for replacements for one of then, while my friend who has dietary restrictions was left to deal with what he had, which was completely inedible. In the end I was so disappointed that I didn’t even take home my included novelty cactus souvenir cocktail cup.

Went out to dinner with my family everyone had the same things to say beans and rice were bland but the meats were soft and had great flavor. Tamale was the worst thing by far the tacos were great tho.

Fun place, lots of options, obviously great margaritas. Coming from CA, it’s hard to please for Mexican food, but didn’t get a chance to try anything substantial anyway since their beans are fried in pork (good to know in advance if you can’t have pork). Making a switch to a vegetarian fat (like oil or butter) would help expand the menu. They were super busy so service a bit slow but still good. The tableside guac was greatVegetarian options: Can’t have the refried beans, would need to do a dish with black or pinto beans

This is a great option for dinner before an event, the price was moderate, the food was delicious and the staff was great, we were so hungry and everything looked so good we forgot to take pictures. Reservations are available so definitely do that.Parking: Paid parking available or valet.Wheelchair accessibility: This location has wheelchair accessibility.
