The Door Dilemma ⭐⭐☆☆☆
Let me start with the elephant in the room – the doors. I genuinely thought this place had closed down when I first arrived. The E Bonneville Street entrance felt completely stuck, prompting me to walk around to the 4th Street entrance, only to find a sign directing me back to the “broken” Bonneville door. After returning and pulling with considerable force, I finally managed to get inside.
The door situation became even more concerning when I witnessed another customer struggling to exit. It took multiple people helping to pull the door open for him to leave. This is a serious accessibility and safety issue that desperately needs addressing – if you want customers, they need to be able to actually enter and exit your establishment!
The Bright Spots ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Once inside, the experience improved dramatically. I ordered an Acai fruit smoothie, and it was absolutely delicious – exactly what I was hoping for from a health-focused establishment. The service was efficient with minimal wait time, and the cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
The interior space is a definite highlight. The restaurant feels open, bright, and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying your healthy treats. I was particularly impressed with the original artwork adorning the walls – it adds character and shows attention to creating a unique dining environment.
Practical Considerations
Parking is limited to street parking, which can be challenging in this area. I was fortunate that my husband could drop me off and pick me up, but this might be a consideration for some visitors.
Final Verdict ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
Protein and Greens serves quality products in a lovely environment with friendly staff. The smoothie was excellent, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from a health-conscious eatery. However, the door accessibility issues are significant enough to impact my overall rating and future visit decisions.
Would I return?** The food and service were great, but honestly, if I had other easily accessible locations to choose from, I’d probably opt for those instead. Fix the doors, and this could easily be a four or five-star experience.
Recommendation:** Great for the food and atmosphere, but be prepared for a workout just getting in and out. Management should prioritize fixing these entrance issues immediately – it’s affecting both customer experience and potentially violating accessibility standards.

Recently started a new job downtown and it was my first time. Waited a few before anyone showed up to take my order. I ordered a California chicken wrap and a pineapple something smoothie.
I made the mistake to dine in. The entire time, they let the crazy and/or unhoused people come in and out as they pleased. My food arrived and the first thing i bit on was a crunchy and rubbery piece of chicken that makes it seem like they get their lab-grown chicken frozen, then, they thaw it and heat it up to serve *shivers*. There was no taste to it, completely bland because they think not seasoning makes it healthier, but it had tons of mayo.
The smothie was overly sweet and it got warm pretty fast as it doesn't come frozen. Just a bad experience over all. I didn't say anything because i am not going to argue with a teenager that couldn't care less about customer service or food quality. $23 dollars for this meal was a ripoff. No wonder my coworkers have not recommended this place so far. Now i know why.

This place was just ok. 2.5. Don't tip at the register because there is zero reason to do so. They bring food out but that's it, no service at table. The food is made with zero salt so it is very bland, and there is no salt shaker at the table. If you go to register and ask for salt or soy sauce they will hand you 3 salt packets. So bring your salt shaker with you lol. Price is ok. Food is just ok. They have vegan and meat options.
Damn the greek toast is one of the best things i ever ate! You have to try it!!

My Chicken Quinoa salad ordered to go is missing nearly all of the ingredients. I did not take the “salad” out of the bag until I got home. I don’t have time to make another drive back to the restaurant before other obligations. Very disappointing.

I found this place while visiting Vegas near the D hotel and being that it’s hot outside, I needed something refreshing other than fried food (which I don’t do as much) and inflammation. Great portion size, reasonably priced, and the food is fresh too. I had the multi grain pancakes and green shake 💙
I bought a smoothie, vegan chik’n wrap with fries and it came to about $30. All of it was absolutely disgusting. It all tasted very bland, very unseasoned. I won’t be back.
So much potential. Salad was small. Chicken was not fresh or good, felt like rubber. Ingredients and flavors were cheap.
Small portions compared for pricing. $8 for a less than a cup of lettuce and Caesar salad dressing, poor smoothie quality- consistency closer to water than any smoothie I’ve ordered before.
Update: they also gave me ranch instead of Caesar dressing….
