Ordered Kalua pig,poi,squid luau,shoyu poke, Hawaiian poke, pastele stew, that came w green salad, kim Chee, & crab potato salad 4 two!…..omg! Where’s the couch - Hawaiian paralysis setting in & my tummy was a happy camper! Squid luau, poke’s were front runners & had the privilege of meeting Papa Sam & Puna Anna who were so delightful & humble ohana! The vibe was ohana coupled with local island music in the restaurant including the well kept restroom!!!!...

I had the pleasure of visiting Grinds2DaMax, and I can’t say enough great things about this family-owned gem. Rocky and Evelyn are such warm, friendly, and welcoming people—it’s clear they pour their heart and soul into their restaurant.

The food is absolutely incredible, showcasing authentic Hawaiian flavors that leave you wanting more. They treated us like family and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time.

This place is bussyyyyyy, but people are in and out pretty fast. The food was good, we had the dynamite chicken.. which was great crispy. I’m not a big wasabi fan, so didn’t love the sauce. The beef jun was definitely our favorite thing. The loco moco had great flavor to it. Food took a little to get to us but overall it’s a good Hawaiian spot.
