The Holy Trinity is my favorite meal! Gritz cafe uses turkey for their collard greens and OMG they are so delicious! I love the food here and have not had a bad experience. They cook the food fresh and the waitresses are so sweet and friendly. I’ll always visit Gritz cafe when I visit. All the food is always on point. I definitely recommend this place!

Had this food about 2 years ago and here I am thinking about it still. What a great little gem. Next time I'm in Nevada I'm coming by again. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

10 out of 10. The atmosphere, the food, the service. Our server was from Chicago and told us to Catfish and Gritz was a stellar and indeed it was.
Our service was extremely attentive to everyone in her section. She kept a smile and worked the room. Good Job

I really enjoyed my experience here. We were greeted as soon as we opened the door and we could feel that this was a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive and our food was great! My wife got the catfish with the butter pecan waffle and it was excellent! The waffle was soft and flavorful and the catfish was fried to perfection - very crispy on the outside, but flaky in the middle. I got the fried shrimp basket and they were big and flavorful. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Vegas to try one of those breakfast bowls. This is a place you must try when visiting Vegas, I highly recommend!

This was the best experience. The food was delicious and the service was first class. We found this place on line before we got to Vegas, the best decision we made. Thank you and we will visit every trip we make to Vegas

My wife and I saw the Gritz Cafe on a Netflix programme and so when we came to Las Vegas from the UK recently, we made sure we visited. It’s slightly off the usual tourist trail and we immediately found it full of local clientele, which we knew was a good sign. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff and great food - wow. This was one of the biggest breakfasts I have had and boy it tasted good. Waffles, grits, fried chicken and eggs. The waitress was so kind and gave us a portion of fried catfish to try as we’ve never had it. So if you’re in Vegas, want to get away from the strip and sample some great soul food, you will not be disappointed. We came midweek and got seated straight away, but I can imagine it gets busy at the weekend.

You know the food is going to be good when the line is out the door. Gritz Cafe serves traditional soul food in a family friendly, community oriented environment. The wait was too long, 1.5 hours on a Saturday morning, but once seated the food were served fast and piping hot. The hospitality is excellent and the staff served you with a smile even though they were running 100 mph.

Absolutely, Best breakfast I've ever experienced in all categories. There should be a Gritz café in every state.

Ok, my son is like a chip off the Ole block. We were visiting Las Vegas and I challenged him to find a local gem.
Let me tell you that you better try it..
Home style, southern fabulous food made with love.
The is truly a moving experience. Long wait. I do not care. You dont care. You genuinely cant enjoy a better meal than what you can get at this Gritz. I dont care about the famous TV actor restaurants on the strip. This food is made with love, and you cant replicate it on TV.
Thank you to everyone at Gritz. And if you read my other reviews, this is as good as it gets.
A Gem.

I’d put 10 stars if I could. I don’t often leave reviews but this establishment far exceeded my expectations. Amazing food and authentic customer service that made me feel like I was back home in the South. Our server, Khasheana, was very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining the menu and the background of the restaurant and the owner, Trina, took time to visit our table and talk about her background and how she began running the place and the culture she instills in her team. Even the hostess, Tay, came by to check on our experience and thank us for coming. Highly recommended and would encourage all to give them a visit.

Leave the strip and eat here!!! Khasheana (sp?) took care of my brothers and I when we all traveled in from Texas, Baltimore and California. We’re originally from Texas and wanted something that tasted close to home. GRITZ was delicious. Every bite made me want more. The catfish was crispy perfection, the wings were well seasoned, and even their potatoes tasted like an auntie made them for the cookout. The signature item? The sweet potato waffle! I could eat here every day. You should try it and come back a second time. Trina is the owner and she was kind, patient and open to answer our questions about the Louisiana origins of her restaurant. Seriously, stop reading and start eating!
