Number stpuid idiotic hotels on strip. Very bad maintened rooms nothing works. Better to stay and sleep on roads. Very very crowded and noisy people. However park and pool are good, changed my hotel for better stay in vegas. Management front desk very rude unable to hear customers issues, they got their own issues. Good luck.
Very rarely, can I go to the same place multiple times in one day and find plenty of options to choose from food wise. We visited multiple times a day when we stayed and are looking forward to visiting again, even if we are not staying.
I will admit I read the reviews before and was wondering what I was going to find however I had a lovely stay at the Flamingo. I had booked a Go Room through British Airways(the worst one according to reviews) and was given a updated flamingo room with a view of the high roller and sphere. Room was very clean and bed was so comfy with an empty fridge for our use. We waited in the check in queue for around 15-20 mins and the lady who checked us in was very polite. The location of the hotel is perfect especially with the promenade right outside. The only negative thing I would sat is our cold tap in the sink was very stiff and got stuck so we was unable to use it so we had to use the hot tap to brush our teeth but we got on with our day and there was a box collecting water outside our room(assuming from previous floods) however this served was a beacon to where our room was after long days of exploring vegas. Overall an amazing stay and would book again. Don't let the negative reviews put you off!
My stay at the Flamingo was a disappointment. The room was not clean, pealing wall paper, broken fridge, phone and faucet. We were told they would fix the issues, but returned many hours later with nothing fixed. After complaining again, they finally sent up room service to take the trash and change the sheets, but didnt replace the fridge or phone and the handyman said he knows the faucet wont work until they get replacements, which they had on order (so no hot sink water). We asked for a new room, and were not provided one. CRAZY! Friends came in the next day and their bathroom wall paper was all pealing off and the couch was stained. Gross! I will not be returning to Flamingo again.
The toilet didn't flush. The shower didn't turn for hot or cold, the ceiling plaster was " caving in"?? The Wifi didn't work. The closet didn't slide open. The room was broken. Housekeeping was excellent. This was for a top floor premium room. When I switched rooms, I was just handed two new keys, no apology for a ruined first night, not a beer, not a coffee, not a discount. They just want your money - lots of it . Even the pool takes the crackers out of your bag so you can buy fried crap for 20 dollars minimum. 2 cocktails= 75 dollars... Don't wa$te your money.
The room is filthy. The door latch is broken - making me feel very unsafe but there are no vacant rooms and I’m here for work. The vent in the bathroom is full of dust and the curtains have stains all over them.
Lots of better places in Vegas. We arrived to a huge queue of people trying to use the check in computers, as we were tourists, the computer didn’t accept our passports! So we had to queue to see a human. They charge you extra if you check in before 3, which we paid. We also paid for an upgrade to a modern room. Well, the room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a nice large shower, and the water was hot but in the four days we stayed there, our room was cleaned once. I had to find the cleaning lady to give her our rubbish, and ask for a fresh towel. She had a really bad attitude. Luckily we are really neat and tidy! The internet is useless. They only allow two devices….and it was so slow. There is also no security concerning who can access the elevators to the rooms….. it is a huge hotel, so we didn’t feel that safe. I defiantly would not stay here again. There have to be many nicer, friendlier, safer places to stay in Vegas.
We picked this hotel for the location and at the time of booking reviews looked ok. On arrival, no warm greeting, just use a machine which doesn't recognise non USA travellers in some of its options. No information about the hotel given at check in, even the machine printed instructions to your room. Room itself was clean and acceptable. It was never cleaned in our entire stay, so had no fresh towels, this was despite calls to housekeeping. As rooms have inter connecting doors - you can get some disturbance from your neighbours. Location for The Strip is excellent, just felt it was lacking the personal touch which was evident in other hotels. On check out we mentioned again we were not happy with the lack of room servicing and were told if we didn't like it, dont come ! Think that says it all.
Loved the theme of this hotel that’s why we picked it and it was a very good price , the room was big and loved the wallpaper and flamingo shaped light. The only bad thing I would say is the bathroom , it’s wet room that doesn’t drain! So when you need to get up to the bathroom the bathroom floor is soaked from the shower! So word of advice don’t leave anything on the floor as it will just get soaked!! Would of been nice if they had some toiletries in the shower for you to use like most other hotels, The view we had was amazing , of the high roller and I enjoyed watching the spear and the flamingos!
Best time of our life's won't change it for nothing. my wife and I had an amazing time in las vegas. very convenient that flamingo is located on the strip. easy access to other casinos and shows. we give 5 stars.

$40 a drink? I know it's Vegas, but that is just redicurus!
The service by Jose was excellent. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. Veal dish was OK, but far from fantastic. Other dishes were very good, but nothing one couldn't get in a mid-priced restaurant in LA.
The restaurant is located inside the Golden Nugget which was great but it was very loud. Service was slow and not personable. The appetizer came out wrong but was corrected. The vegan gluten free pasta dish was definitely not pasta. It was a small bowl of vegetables sautéed in EVOO sauce that tasted like fish, and other than a fish taste had no flavor. The server never checked on us once we received the food so there was no chance for a substitution before the plate was cleared by the assistant, who did not inform the server that I told her I didn't like it. Would not recommend this restaurant.
