unfortunately, this place is really gone downhill it's never been the best mexican food but it was decent and affordable but the quality of the meat in my last several orders has really turned me off to this place also I recently ordered tamales and the corners were hard Iv never in my life seen a hard tamale needless to say couldn't feed that old food to my kid I won't be going back anytime soon

3/18/24 ordered 3 beef hard shell tacos, 1 Chile Verde burrito. The meat was not beef, was white looked and smelled awful, cudnt bite the taco shells they were so hard. Meat in burrito was the same. The only thing we ordered that was good is the menudo. Will NEVER go again. I will say this, the ladies working were very nice.
The chorizo and egg burrito was delicious. It's big enough to feed 2 and the staff graciously cut it in half for us. The eating area was clean and well stocked with delicious salsas. We can't wait to come back and try lunch.

I went there one time, I ordered three fish tacos a side of guacamole. The guacamole was disgusting, extremely salty, and almost watery. When I was paying, in the drive-through, the cashier guy asked me if I wanted to tip. Maybe it is the way he asked, but it sounded to me pretty tacky i'm always happy to tip when there is a good service, but I threw away the guacamole, of course, which it was just like a little bit and it cost almost 7 dollars. That's a lot of money for something that doesn't even taste near what a real guacamole should.
Carne asada fries were disgusting. They were soggy and carne asada was so fatty I had to spit it out. Won't be coming back.

Pretty good tacos, taquitos and burritos for an unassuming little place. This place has a very busy drive through, that's what drew us to them. Love the chicken tacos! Keep up the good work.

very unfortunate because I used to love habaneros.. over the past year or so the prices have been going up like crazy, which is understandable but the service has gone down. The night cashiers are rude and ignore simple requests like asking for sauce or limes. The price is never consistent, I have been reading reviews about how sometimes they will sneakily charge a tip to the card, now it makes sense why the prices aren't consistent even though my order is. The other day one of the cashiers handed me the card reader to leave a tip, I wasn't aware we had to tip on a bean burrito that's nearly $10 (before the tip). I understand they have to make a living too, but it's not the same thing as a full service restaurant, and why should i have to tip if the service is bad? They should be taking some of the extra money they're making from raising the prices to pay their staff more, not forcing it on the customer (especially when they don't tell you they're adding the tip that's unacceptable) On top of all that, the last time I ate here it messed my stomach up. like I said I used to love this place, I would look forward to treating myself to habaneros every couple weeks but over the past year it's just gone downhill.
