A beautiful venue with a most attentive wait staff. A wonderful place for a relaxed and elegant dining experience.

The service was exceptional and able to make accommodations for our group. Everyone's food was perfect! Can't say enough to recommend this restaurant.

We go to Hawthorne often because staff members are wonderful. They provide excellent service and are very kind. As for food, you need a new chef!

We had reservations for 6:15 but by 6:30 the Rack of Lamb was sold out and by 7:00 the special Father's Day desert was sold out. The kitchen was terribly slow, food was barely warm, and the staff appeared to be overworked and frustrated. We have been here several times, and this was by the far the worst we have ever experienced.

It was our 25th Anniversary. The service provided by our waiter was extremely poor. Our waters were left empty and we were mostly ignored. The table next to us however, was given the gold standard. The same waiter kept coming up to them and kept their water filled if it was even half empty. He was very attentive to them. We were very disappointed as we had been looking forward to this for some time as we had celebrated our Anniversary the year before and at that time very much enjoyed our experience. That is why returned. Having worked at a gourmet restaurant for many years in the past I always tip over 20% when i receive excellent servive. We wrote an email to the manager and 4 days later have still not received a reply. I waited to see if they would show that care before posting this but as with most customer service nowadays. No one cares.

We had the pleasure of dining here twice during our stay at the JW, and both experiences were exceptional. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was relaxed without feeling too crowded. On one evening, we enjoyed the chef's special, and the following night, we had the dry-aged ribeye—both were outstanding. The seafood tower was also a highlight, as were the perfectly Brussels sprouts with their dipping sauce. The ambiance was sophisticated, and the service consistently exceeded expectations. Additionally, the bar offers a fantastic setting for a pre-dinner drink while you wait for your table. Highly recommend!

My family decided to celebrate my birthday in Dec 28, 2024, we’ve been here before I thought the food was ok, I mostly enjoy the salad choices’. There’s 8 of us and we were all disappointed about all the dishes we ordered, steak is thought and chewy’ the fish is overcooked, the chopped salad bacon bits are hard, the lobster bisque is so salty! We pretty much got full on the bread! Sorry not recommending this place! Service is excellent! Need to change your chef!

The food, beer, and wine were excellent. The staff was very attentive, informative, and pleasant. We really enjoyed the couple of visits of the manager (?, we think) to the table, who was very pleasant, engaging, and really cared that our experience was a good one. We always plan for one of our dinners to be at the Hawthorn Grill when we stay at the JW Marriott in Summerlin, and have never been disappointed. We recommend it.

This is our favorite spot to eat when we stay at the hotel. Service is always impeccable, food is delicious, and we have a wonderful time. Highly recommend the steaks - and the Brussels and brocollini for sides are the Chefs kiss.

Service is great. Our order came out as expected and was delicious. One ordered halibut and it was great the rest of us ordered steak and they were cooked to perfection. We also oredered Mashed Potatoes & Mushrooms which we all enjoyed.

We had a group dinner here on a weekday.

The service was friendly and attentive. The food was good and well prepared.

Overall a good steak restraunt although a high price point for the value of food delivered.

Food was great, waiter was very kind and quick. We were seated in a private area away from the crowd. I’m sure my experience was more enjoyable compared to others since this dinner was a gift from a client. I personally would not spend more than $30 on a steak but it was a wonderful experience.

Overall experience was very good. The service, atmosphere and ambiance were 5 star. The food was mixed. 3 of us ordered the 10oz filet minion, and one ordered the lobster tail. The lobster tail was big and cooked perfectly. The steaks were over cooked on the outside but inside was perfect. They just lacked any flavor or seasoning. Just a very bland tasting steak. The French onion soup was amazing as were the wedge salads and Brussel sprouts.

We had a great time celebrating my dad 89th Birthday and thank you for surprise happy bday cake with candle and staff singing along with us . Greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Hawthorn Grill! !

Disappointing, shrimp cocktail had huge old shrimp, over cooked and fishy . Crab Cobb salad was strange, no lettuce and crab was old. 2 New York steaks where ordered, one was great the other was not a New York steak and over done, tough. Asparagus was like bamboo, couldn't even eat, waiter took it off our bill. Actually the whole meal should have been taken off. I think the restaurant might have been closed while the remodeling was being done and and had just opened back up.... So disappointing for a special birthday dinner. Only 3 of us and a $350 bill. I would never go back!
