After our initial hiccup, we bounced back in a BIG way. Juan and Daniel are a spectacular team and made my experience truly special. Daniel was attentive and kept the table well placed and prepared. Juan was convivial and very knowledgeable of the menu. Hes a great salesman without making you feel pressured to buy. Please make sure theyre acknowledged in some way. The Beef tartare was delectable. Well seasoned and balanced. The Natalys surf and turf was the perfect birthday dish for me and my husband. And what a price! I'm glad that I decided to give yall a second chance. It was so worth it. I'll definitely be returning
The best in LV, nobody comes close.
I found this place from someone I follow on Instagram. Then someone I know used to live in Vegas and when I told him we were going here he told us how great it is. He wasn’t wrong. You would never know from the outside but this place is so cool inside, almost like an old Chicago speak easy. The service was great. The 16 oz ribeye was melt in your mouth and the jalapeño creamed corn was out of this world. Make a reservation, otherwise you’re looking at an hour wait.
If you’re looking for top-tier quality without the sky-high prices, Herbs & Rye is a must-visit. This local favorite blends expert mixology with unbeatable happy hour deals, making it a hidden gem in Las Vegas. The dimly lit, Prohibition-era ambiance sets the mood, while the cocktail menu takes you on a journey through time—from the Gothic Age to the Tiki Boom. Signature drinks like the Old Fashioned and Waldorf are crafted with precision, but the real secret? Their steaks are 50% off during happy hour (5-8 PM & midnight-3 AM). High-quality, perfectly cooked, and half the price—what’s not to love? Whether you’re sipping a classic cocktail or digging into a juicy steak, Herbs & Rye delivers an experience unlike any other in Vegas.
Not a good steak, inexpensive but low quality all around, don’t waste your time

Friend and I went during happy hours and the place was packed @ 12 a.m.! We got a rib eye and fillet mignon along w/ steak toppers and pasta. Great food, though a bit highly priced even for discounted steak.

Food is delicious, BUT, I ordered the truffle pasta and it gave me the worst shits imaginable. I felt heavy and sick after my meal, and was rudely awoken at 1:30 in the morning by my contracting bowels. Please be warned. The pasta was amazing, but it probably had a whole block of pecorino Romano in it. I’m not even lactose intolerant so please be careful whoever you are.

Been trying to get ahold of anyone for a large party reservation. Myself and my fiance are getting married in early April in Vegas and we were recommended this place by a waitress at their sister restaurant by The Flamingo. We chose this place for our rehearsal dinner but nobody answers our messages or emails. Its been nearly 2 weeks and nobody will talk to us. Our party will just take ourselves somewhere else. Vegas has changed a lot since I last went 8 years ago. City use to be the hospitality capital of the US. That has changed dramatically.

I have had a better Ribeye from Walmart. There is a reason theirs is only $41 vs $100+ on the strip. Perhaps the rest of the menu is really good. We only had the steak.

This rating is based solely on the fact that we had to wait over 2.5hours for a table. From experience I’ve never heard of a restaurant accepting walk-ins solely based off of cancelations. Wasn’t explained to us until we were 1.5 hours in. Everything else
Phenomenal. Just will never come Here again without a reservation

Went for happy hour on a Friday and 7 of us sat at the bar. I don't like sitting at bars as it limits the conversation.
Anyway, food was very good and the staff were excellent.
Place was loud and dark and the unisex bathroom was a little weird.

Been anxious to enjoy dinner st Herbs & Rye for a while. Finally got there. Yea!!!!
The issue was not the amazing food, it was that they made us feel bum rushed.
Wanted to take our entire order immediately.
Drinks came well after our appetizer.
We were not even halfway through our app & here is dinner. I was enjoying our app & the drink that finally arrived so very much disappointed that our entree arrived when it did.
We did order a desert but as soon as that hit the table so did the check.
We felt very much unwelcomed. Good food but the flavor & enjoyment was killed off by the “bums rush”

Very dark inside, keep your cell phone light handy. Only one bathroom, line forms so you have people with their backsides facing your food like a foot away. Service was the best part of the night. But the food wasn't as good as we expected. We read it was the "2nd best steakhouse in Vegas" which is why we made a reservation but everyone in our party of 4 have had far better steaks other places in Vegas. Wedge salad was great though. We travel to Vegas 2 times a year for work, other times for concerts, you can easily get better steaks on the strip. We left kinda confused about the high ratings for this place. Maybe we had higher expectations than we should have.

We were sat across from the bar....it was extremely crowded, everytime one of the waiters went by they bumped our table...when we inquired with our waiters was it always this crowded....he apologized he was bumped into our table...and he told us no, not always...he made it enjoyable...since this was our first time visiting....made recommendations for the evening meals....excellent service between him and the busser....food was delicious....
A local told us about this hidden gem and we are so thankful he did. One of the best and biggest steaks we've had. All the cocktails are well curated and service was top notch. Open till 3am! I highly recommend.
